Ouch, you can ride it for sure but tape it up so nothing can get into the connections if it's dry. I mean Sahara Desert dry. I wouldn't even do that myself. If it's wet, It's NOT ok.
Always wait a year when new versions come out and let the first guys lose their shirts as the beta testers.
Meanwhile buy the previous version cheap on run out.
This is a rule in all situations in life.
I've left them behind because Shimano is so easy and effective.
Even the fluid is better.
The size of the brake is so small and the ease of gravity bleeding is madly easy.
What a brilliant form this is. I had the same problem with the rotating saddle... strangely the video does not mention the shims. There are two TINY SLIM bits of plastic at the top that stop the post rotating, and I just turned one around. I was pretty shocked at the cheapness and fragility of...
Thanks so much, you saved me! I followed that video and dismantled the post and strangely it does not mention the shims, but the post you linked does. There are two TINY SLIM bits of plastic at the top that stop the post rotating, and I just turned one around.
This is a cheap seatpost...
Anyone else had this happen to their dropper post? After a light crash, it now wobbles horizontally between straight ahead and this angle. I've replaced it with a rigid post for now. I unscrewed it top and bottom to see if there was any obvious damage, but whatever it is must be inside.
Is this suggesting that Santa Cruz won't stick to the warranty? That's who you are dealing with though your LBS. I'd try that (looks like you have not yet) and then think about all other options, which sadly are highly unlikely.
Yep, they are all slow and super-draggy past the speed limit. Usually I find that isn't a problem mountain biking, but it certainly is on flat surfaces and roads if you ride those. Just think though, you'd probably not be going that fast on a dually.
Seems odd, it was brought in a box for you to look at? Does this mean it was up to you to set up yourself? If so, did you perform all the steps to wake the battery from hibernation mode?
"Try not to discharge your battery below 10%. Running it all the way down until limp mode damages it."
Not for sure...Panasonic/giant says to fully discharge every 3 months or 15 cycles and they know their stuff.
On these press the button on the smart charger to get it to charge to 60% and...
Trailforks is a foreign site and has had one star reviews from everyone since they became a paysite that uses our freely-given trail submissions to make a profit. Ignore the ebike details, that relies on users too and is there because it's a foreign template.
A bit yes, the 'all the gear/ no idea" stigma, speaking as a Kenevo owner, but surprisingly a lot of people can't work out what ebike it is because it's so stealth. Mostly though people admire them (more than is warranted).
Honestly no, I go so much further than Specialized and Merida friends that they make jokes about it. I have it set on 3/5 power almost all the time. I still have my 500wh Kenevo and it is way off the pace.
Is there a huge weight difference between you and your friends, or how you ride it?
