I grew up in England and often go back, I now feel naked wearing no helmet, having been forced to in Australia.
I'm glad now. My 198 gram Giro lid has saved me twice from being a casualty. I don't bin a lid from one hit.
All MTBers wear lids, surely?
Having said that, there are reasons not to in...
Hi, I have a Garmin 530 and I see you say to "disconnect ebike from your garmin via native sensors" but I have no idea how to do this and cannot find anything on the internet except this page. The ebike field is not ticked in the menu in sensors. Can you help, anyone please?
Having ridden around these Australian alpine areas for years on normal bikes, I soon realised that an eMTB changes everything and places that were once too much work for too little reward became perfect. Conversely, some of my favourite areas became trivialised. These are just my personal ideas...
In Australia there is a chainstore Specsavers that do sunnies and regular glasses as a package. They have many sports styles orders of magnitude less than oakley.
Gen X, had free education, were not ruined by internet and phones in their childhood and 20s, got all the tech and games back when it was good, could buy houses for $150K when they were 30. Really good music, movies and culture growing up. And no one hates them:)
At 1000km my Trance E+2 cassette broke when a pin snapped. This Deore unit was replaced by Shimano who described it as barely worn. I was riding Australian mountain trails all the time. No way commuting would wear out a cassette that quick unless it's an English winter on rock salted roads.
Would the lower capacity ones be worth it? There is a BLUETTI EB55 Portable Power Station | 700W 537Wh that is way chaper. Could I get a full eMTB battery charge from that do you think with a 500Wh battery?
I have your bike too and got a Trance eMTB to 'replace it' but ended up keeping both. It's a bit less agile with 29 wheels but otherwise pretty similar in some ways. It goes much further though. Much.
You say you had no problems but are on the second motor?
My Kenevo showed 100% battery...
Yeah they are usually a solid unit and non-removable. I have to order ones with removeable cores. Just Google if you've somehow never seen one such as presta valve non removable core - Google Search
Yeah, this is 1/100 of an aggressive place. Welcome to the internet.
This is an incredibly mild forum.
But in an alternate and better world, you are right.
Yeah the service manual has been posted here, check that. Few people will have the reverse torque wrench to sort the cranks, so just take it in for first service where you got it.
