Carbon alledgedy dampens trail vibrations. i don't think it does having used many over 18 years. they do snap, though.
Spank vibrocore is recommended, 4.9 stars everywhere. often sold out though.
So this is using a BLUETTI EB3A which is their cheapest, smallest one. Together with a solar panel with quite good sunshine, (you can use any panel with compatible specs, it doesn't have to be their brand), it can charge my Giant Trance from 26% to 81% as fast as if it was plugged into the...
No way will I ever do this, it's a massive extra load on my motor. It's an eMTB not a tractor!
They need to go to the shop and buy an ebike if they want a lift, or take up skiiing!
Under-saddle items are fine in dry climates; I have a spare tube under my seat at all times and it rarely gets more than a bit dusty. It's never used though. I carry similar kit to you but in a bottle cage bag. I do wear a light Camelback with minimal water in it and use that for my keys...
I lost a lot, from 67kg to 61kg from riding emtb so much this summer. This is fine for my gender and height btw. I just ride so much more often and further because it's fun.
eMTBs are still not totally reliable and it's common to hear figures like 1 out of 10 break. Specialized are very expensive and have a large number of broken ones (although my Spech is ok) so possibly look at a Yamaha or Bosch motor one?
everyone will have a different answer though as we all...
The Lifepo4 batteries in my solar generators can now take 100% ok and last 2500 to 3000 cycles (ten years of daily full recharge) and still be 80% healthy. we will see this tech on eMTBs.
I have a rare 2018 Kenevo that hasn't broken. The battery is really weak now though and holds maybe a 60% charge, although the app says it is 100% healthy which is a pure lie. It's still useful for friends.
I ride in 3/5 mode almost always and it's often dry riding.
I think everyone I know has...
Fantastic to be riding into your Third Age.
No matter what age though, I'd be trying some different tactics, routes and protective gear with all those injuries happening! Injuries suck and the recovery does too!
Older style cloth hockey or soccer shin pads fit comfortably and well under knee pads and I always wear them. You can get newer ones made of plastic in sports shops, but they are sweaty.
The reasons:
To avoid sticks that pivot up like spears into my shins;
No more gouges from flat pedal pins...
After 40 or more fires caused by Lithium Batteries, Western Australia are issuing a "critical" warning to the public, link here from ABC Australia
"Make sure you get the manufacturer's charger that comes with that device," Commissioner Gary Newcombe said.
"Do not leave devices charging...
Giant don't use Shimano, they have Yamaha motors.
Yamaha know about motors.
I rate my Specialized and Giant the same.
Luckily my Specialized has not broken in 4 years, unlike all my friends' ones.
Also consider the price.
Also, your one rider might not be as good, or have a bad luck bike.
