That unit looks pretty good and is really cheap compared to the other big players.
Its main weakness is only taking 220W Solar Input, which would make it very slow to charge up compared to similar Bluettis with 500w inputs, but if you aren't worried about that or plan to use solar anyway, it's...
The hose is the enemy so be very careful.
Allow to dry and brush off mud, or use a damp sponge, waxes and water displacements.
Dry clean if you can with automotive products.
The definition of dryclean is, any medium other than water.Water is the enemy of electric parts, such as the circuit...
Thank you, this worked...Seems I used to know this one simple trick.
The dealer is an hour away so this was good to know on Christmas Day. Cheers!
I later managed to connect and update the (new) bike by using a totally new phone, up on top of a mountain away from any other signal!
My second Giant, a new Trance E+1, and still after more than two years the app is useless, in fact worse than ever. It won't connect to either bike without an update, yet the update always fails. I pretty much will never use the app once again for fear it will brick the bike.
I entered mine and it always says 'product not found'.
Trying to update the app on a new Trance E+1 and it always fails.
Giant still is bad at this stuff.
These claim to work on the fires F-500 (Lithium Ion Battery fire) extinguisher The battery can continue to cause new cells to ignite though in a runaway effect so it's no joke. I'm always charging out of the bike and it's another reason I'll never buy a bike with a fixed-in battery.
Looks good but the tiny battery is five years off the pace and few will sell to mountain bikers, who will buy Giants with the same motor and a 50% bigger battery.
Thanks for linking this excellent video. Rogan had a podcast on this too.
My eMTB is powered from solar so it is as green as it can get, but I know it'll never justify the cost of making the solar panels, Lithium battery, the bike itself etc inabsolute global terms.
Normal bikes can last MUCH...
It has first mover advantage in terms of name recognition, much like Bitcoin in crypto.
The big issue is how often the sketchy motors break. Lots of people boast about their high mileage Levos and then it turns out they are on the third motor and a few months it was off the road.
Other brands...
Yes and i have done twice, 25kmph Australia.
Zero problems on the trails, the limit is right.
If I rode on rail trails or roads, it would be better at 30+
The bike meaning 'frame' is pointless.
Normal bikes have been ridden around the globe.
The bike is THE BIKE and that means the motor. ESPECIALLY the motor.
I'd go further and say it is spin. Some of these bikes might have had five motors.
Yes, there's shops in front of Red Hill MTB Park.
I have a guide to some areas to help inspire you here and Red Hill is described. It's the North Entrance and the shop is Chain Brain.

Excellent tip, thanks. I haven't trusted any firmware update on any bike or tech device for a while.
My LG TV got semi-bricked recently and guess what, it's happening all over.
