All sorts of places. I will get my cans from an industrial chemical supply, but if I only want 1lt I will get it from our equivalent of ebay.
Pharmacies usually sell 500ml and smaller volumes.
Never used one until I bought my first eMTB late 2018 and have really found them to be something I don't use a lot. However, there are several drops on the trails I ride that I do drop the seat for as with the seat up I have little control. To me, the convenience far outweighs the weight...
Hey Charlie
Used to ride around Anaheim Hills on my trail bike back in the 70's and have always thought that would be a cool area on a MTB. Also around the back of Santiago Canyon.
I would not want to be riding the X160 as I would break the forks off the puppy within a day - far too much weight for a single crown fork
I do however expect to see these things out on MTB trails ruining things for us :(
It depends on what you really want or consider protection.
As I have a bad habit of rubbing my heels on the chainstays I prefer to use something a little thicker than many do and use Scuff Stuff from my local motorcycle shop.
Are your brake rotors mis-colored blue?
That would be a bit of an indicator, but really I can't see that being the issue. Hell, I raced an event called The Brake Burner Super-D and replaced my pads during the event. Both rotors showed major discoloring and the front rotor even warped slightly...
Is the Bosch G4 so 1125Wh with both batteries. I expect a hell of a lot higher price though.
Personally I am not a fan of the belt drives - had a singlespeed with belt drive and stripped belts often (my 112kg weight I expect).
Internal geared Rohloff hub looks a nice tough though.
Was in the shop today and the extender fits all the eRide Spark & Genius range - however, some of the lowest lines only come with a 500Wh and not the 625Wh main battery.
One thing my race mechanic told me many years ago when I found out my 125 race bike was actually 138cc ....
"If you are't cheating - you aren't winning".
Scott Genius eRide 900 Tuned with the battery extender - takes it to 1125Wh.
Scott Genius eRide
Quite possibly that extender is also on the lower models. Haven't put it on my 900 Tuned as I want it light and nimble, but if I needed the point to point range I would look into it.
Cracked 50kph going down there once. Turned the transition onto the road into a lot of air even though I had slowed considerably.
We ride the Little Waipa to Arapuni section quite often & have brunch at the cafe then back.
I expect I will be doing that a lot over the next few months trying to...
