I do most of my riding in Eco no matter what trails I am on. Use Trail mode for any decent climbs then straight back to Eco. Unless of course, I am on a new trail and come around a corner to find the trail heading to the heavens - then Turbo gets called on.
All that is moot when I am on just...
My only comment, and this is based on several bikes claimed to be damaged by couriers is for them to provide photographic evidence of the damaged packaging. I know that in most countries if someone signs for something they accept responsibility for it. Any company I have worked for it has...
In an unguarded moment I was suckered into buying it and regretted it after the first couple rides.
I didn't really like the handling of it as the style of suspension on the Levo causes the rear end to kick when hitting bumps under hard braking, but that is probably me just being overly fussy...
I have thought a lot over this dilemma and have come to the conclusion ...................
How much do you love your bike?
If you really, really love it you will use clips.
The reason I say this is that with clips there is a better than even chance that you will hit the ground before your bike...
The problem IMHO is that certain areas creating BS regulations are treating this issue like when the automobile arrived on the scene.
The Locomotive Act 1865 stipulated that any self-propelled road vehicle had to be preceded by a person walking at least 60 yards ahead, carrying a red flag...
Several people seem to be quite lively in their disagreement with @Wernher and myself arguing that the regulations are plain bogus. Quite frankly, I find those arguments actually indicative of current society that accepts mediocrity rather than striving for excellence and to be fair, rather...
Nope. I had family fighting on both sides and the one thing my elders constantly hammered into me as a child was to stand up for what I believe in. If people did that our world would be a vastly different place - and by standing up for what you believe in, that is NOT the bullshit the greenies...
That attitude is why our lives are being restricted in so many other areas and we are forced to live with completely unreasonable BS.
I was always told by my grandad that if something is arbitrary and wrong one should fight for what you believe in. Rolling over and accepting whatever crap is...
Because the motor will go into a wide range of bikes Shimano has a random size as default.
One of the first things my Scott dealer (Cycology My Ride, Hamilton) did once the bike was assembled was to update all of the firmware. After that he adjusted to the correct wheel size and then made sure...
Exactly. The random restriction figures are something some so-called Expert came up with.
Completely arbitrary and in my mind unrealistic - just like limiting an automobile to whatever speed limit your country has.
