I have several stories about EVRI, the most totally useless parcel delivery company I have come across. I missed out on a bargain Xmas present for my grandson, lost a pair of gloves that match my shirt (at a discount). CRC tried hard to assist because their customer service is still good. But...
There are lots of threads on here in support of using wax for chain lubrication. In addition, there are research papers that support the use of wax. I know in my brain that you are all correct, but I'm getting good results with conventional oil and I can't be arsed to go with wax.
Just been onto CRC for a look at tyres, then chains.
The pictures are better, much better. You can't do an initial sort on tyre diameter , but you can later though once you have clicked through. I found this 29" x 2,5" WTB triple compound tubeless tyre, high grip for £18.99 instead of £59.99...
Oh dear, how sad! :(
I used to use CRC almost constantly. Great selection, fast delivery, excellent customer service if something goes wrong and so forth. I used to give them 9/10 or 10/10 in the surveys every time.
When Wiggle bought them, I expected shit to happen, but it didn't.
Then they...
Ergon GP1 grips. Take time to get the angle of the flattish grips just right, they may be different for each hand.
For the saddle, I prefer one by WTB. Take their test and choose from their selection.

EVERY time I put my phone in a pocket (shorts, jacket etc) it gets a cracked screen or worse. So, it stays in my back pack. Yes, inconvenient for pics I know. But at least I still have a phone for pics. My wallet stays in the car, with a tenner in my back pack. The car keys are in my back pack...
I use my mode shifter all the time, wouldn't be without it. One use I discovered on my own that is unique to e-bikes is when climbing and an unexpected steep bit arises. I have a dilemma. I always back off the power to change gears, but if I did that on a steep climb then I'd lose momentum. If I...
@-Matt Keep the 1st chain at 25%, and the subsequent ones too. When you get to replacing number 4, put the 1st one back on and run it to 50%. Keep going and run through all four, then return to the first chain again and run to 75%. It will be interesting to see how far you can go before the...
Yes, you can trust CRC. They are based in Northern Ireland (part of the UK) and have an automated warehouse there. A few years ago, they were bought by Wiggle, another on-line bike and bike components company. They still sell under their own names, although I expect they only have one buying...
Do you know a teenager, about 15-16? A son, grandson, nephew maybe? Let them borrow it for half an hour and it will be down to 60% or less without a doubt. I'm sure they will look after it!
It is right there in post#3, but in case the gremlins have struck your access, here it is again.

Depending upon which tyres and which rims, you may discover that the difference in overall wheel/tyre diameter is very small. I have just been into the garage to measure the wheel diameter on my mullet. I got 29" front and 28" rear. In other words, the rear wheel is only 3.4% smaller in...
I'm in the UK and I can't remember the last time I bought a set of pedals that has reflectors on them. If a bike I buy has pedals on them, they are always the cheap ones that come with reflectors, so they go in the bin. There must be thousands of reflectors in landfill somewhere.
I took a few pics of my own earlier that day.
A bit of singletrack has emerged from the forest clearance of a few years ago.
And across the old railway line on the land of the National Coal Board, some trees still falling.
A while later I met Tubby G and Louise.
