Did they go to an IT company and say "how can we make our massively successful website absolutely sh!t to use because we want people to use Bike24 instead??"

The sister site Chain Reaction has the same infection too!!

I have ordered from Chain Reaction many times over the last few months and I was really enjoying how easy the website was to use and order from. Then they went and changed it. Its so much harder to use now. You can't sort by in stock or not. You can sort tires by width, but not rim diameter? Not to mention the prices went up significantly. I ordered a tire and needed another one one week later. In that week the website changed and the tire went up $12.50.

The new iPhone app is horrible, like they don't test what they released. I ended ordering somewhere else. I have let them a message about it in the contact page but didn't get any feedback...

Wiggle has never been great. It's fairly impressive that they've been managed to make it worse. I guess someone high up will get them to change it once the monthlies sink in.

Oh dear, how sad! :(
I used to use CRC almost constantly. Great selection, fast delivery, excellent customer service if something goes wrong and so forth. I used to give them 9/10 or 10/10 in the surveys every time.

When Wiggle bought them, I expected shit to happen, but it didn't.
Then they changed their parcel delivery to EVRI. Oh Dear!
I haven't been on CRC since then (even though I have some gift vouchers) and told them why. Therefore, I was unaware of their recent deterioration. I must go have a look!

Just been onto CRC for a look at tyres, then chains.

The pictures are better, much better. You can't do an initial sort on tyre diameter , but you can later though once you have clicked through. I found this 29" x 2,5" WTB triple compound tubeless tyre, high grip for £18.99 instead of £59.99. If I didn't already have a spare tyre of that size, I'd get one of those.

https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/wtb-vigilante-tcs-high-tyre-tritec-sg2

On to chains and I found this Shimano XTR 12-speed for £30 instead of £60. Bargain, but out of stock! For that price it's worth ordering and waiting until they come back into stock. (CRC have honoured that in the past).

First impression is that it seems much faster to navigate (on my laptop not phone) to what I'm looking for. But I haven't proceeded to payment - so judgement is reserved.

There is this EVRI delivery story as well.
My last order has been lost by EVRI, they sent it again with EVRI, and the replacement got lost as well! They refunded me hopefully

Search for the things you wanna buy on google shopping, get redirected to wiggle or CR. Done.
I did and placed my order, only to realise after it had taken me to a steel saddle instead of the chromoly I'd searched for, my fault I accept but wouldn't have been if I could have just found what I wanted on Wiggle in the first place. I would use someone else but I paid for Wiggle plus a while ago....

You're not alone whoever redesigned their new site did a pretty piss poor job in my opinion. What on earth were they thinking with this pile of pants? It's difficult to navigate, doesn't list previous orders very well, checkout awful, some categories missing altogether but most of all it looks really really bad and old fashioned. Come on Wiggle either get it sorted or go back to the 'old' one which I think was perfectly fine?

Why do companies still use EVRI a 'leopard doesn't change it's spots', still the same old unreliable Herpes!

Since they Bought www.bikester.co.uk they're not on point but my last 3 purchases from Wiggle have been faultless, more to the point, why do prices differ between the websites when apart from the name it's the same company, www.deporvillage.com is always worth a look.

I just spent 2 hours in traffic to get to CRC Boucher Rd in Belfast only to find out they don't have the disc brake pads in stock that their web pages said they did.👎
Luckily Mech Monkey dien the road was back of holiday and had a full selection of pads 👍

I have several stories about EVRI, the most totally useless parcel delivery company I have come across. I missed out on a bargain Xmas present for my grandson, lost a pair of gloves that match my shirt (at a discount). CRC tried hard to assist because their customer service is still good. But they are hampered by their choice of an awful delivery company. I am sure that EVRI were the cheapest in the tender for a new parcel delivery company, but whoever was running the selection must have been new to the job and never did any form of vendor assurance. They cannot have even read the customer reviews, which is surely the absolutely minimum basic background check? I expressed my disappointment verbally and on line to CRC, but EVRI must have tied up CRC with a cast iron contract or they would have been toast by now. (Another nail in the coffin of whoever ran the selection tender). Bad, bad, bad. :(

I have not bought anything from CRC since 25th Nov'22, despite having some vouchers to use. My average spend with CRC until that time was over £700/year, so they are losing out. I truly hope that they get rid of EVRI, or thinking more positively, perhaps/maybe/hopefully EVRI will sort themselves out and become a parcels delivery business that is worthy of CRC and its customers. :) but I won't hold my breath.

All 3 of my most previous purchases came via DPD, maybe because I paid for express delivery.

The shopping experience on the new wiggle app is awful, I used to spend about £500 a year there and enjoyed just browsing and saving items. Now looking elsewhere…😕

Gave up on CRC when they sold out to wiggle and the customer service went down the toilet.

Now use tredz/tweeks/winstanleys etc
