Always my preference.
Have rode a bunch of different brands and motors and owned E8000, Brose & Bosch G4 powered. Loved the Brose, but did not like the reliability. E8000 was good, but the Bosch is better - lots.
Currently have 2 Bosch powered bikes, one with Fox 36 Float Factory Air forks &...
Back to two bikes again. Have an Avanti Hammer-e LT2 to join the Scott. Its a bike heavier than I expect and was going to sell it but will put a few more rides on it. Actually like the Zeb forks and as the motor and battery are the same as on my Scott I kind of like the idea of redundancy...
For sure.
If you put a couple washers - even a nut off a presta valve under the bottom mount of your cage it should remove that slight touch, which will rub through the coat.
Yes, but not all 800's. Also have a little bracket that will drop the bottle about 30mm which still gives me shock clearance and will allow even my 1L bottle to fit. Was about $3.50 off Aliexpress. Didn't need it, but handy to have in the kit in case I do.
I have a similar problem on my Avanti Hammer-E.
Used aSyncros side mount cage with a small spacer under the bottom mount and a little slot to allow it to be pivoted slightly.
Nowhere as bad as I was fearing. The quality of care at Waikato was world class back then and except for bald areas on my legs and feet it is difficult to see unless looking closely. Being a hairy bugger makes those kind of stand out, but in many other areas the hair actually covers lots of...
You know, while I was pretty cut up about not being able to return to motocross I have always been very thankful that no matter how much was lost, my face only had a couple small spots that healed up rapidly. Was a 15 year old girl that had been squirted with lighter fluid by another girl at a...
I guess I was focused. When I came out of the coma, day after day I started with a saline bath as they washed the cream off and removed dead skin. After a week or so I was able to hold some tweezers and was helping. This was around christmas and I was telling the nurses I would be out of there...
Is OK - I don't mind.
Was working as a chef to help fund my budding pro motocross career when I had an industrial accident. 80% burns with 30% full/partial thickness. Back then usually anything over 20/25% was fatal as they could not keep you hydrated and infection was also a huge issue. A...
Did enough of that last weekend on my Scott. Riding the Avanti pig today I was in no way inclined to abuse my 63 year old body with that bullshit. Need to chek the weight, but without battery it is 7lbs heavier than @Duke916 alloy Levo.
Had an E8000 powered bike, a Brose powered Levo and now a couple Bosch powered bikes. While the Shimano was perhaps the more natural transition from a non e-powered bike, with the Bosch I can ride all day in Eco or Trail where I needed extra boost from the Shimano. The Brose wasn't bad, but...
Hey @Levo19 - don't be ..... Questions are for asking. Even though some may get a jab in, many others are happy to answer the same question many times ..... realizing some people just don't do forums well. The trick is to not get thin skinned about it when they do.
As far as being knowledgeable...
Personally, I completely disagree with the 25kph limit - with that I would not even bother with an ebike & I am a fat 63 year old. On my singlespeed I was averaging 29 - 34kph commuting and while a lot slower average on the trails my max was better than 32kph often. I think limiting power is...
Haven't rode it yet. Well, started a ride but found the rear shock rocks forward as well as compressing so it was hitting my bottle cage. Working on an alternative setup right now before I ride. Swapped out the controller for a Kiox before assembling as I wanted the connectivity the Purion...
