True but has different riding modes I believe, I've it has a Sport mode but no EMTB mode. EMTB is a very popular mode for those riding off road. The extra torque won't mean much if it's being deployed at the wrong times because the motor thinks it's a Cargo bike in the city.
Performance wise the motors look similar but not the same. Looks like the Cargo's riding modes are ECo, Tour, Sport and Turbo whereas the Performance motor has EMTB instead of Sport, that's for '24 bikes anyway according to the link below but might be another clue as to which motor it actually...
Correct but you'd expect a new bike to have the correct motor cover on. A used bike I can understand if the wrong cover put back on because they are only stuck on with very weak double sided foam so just fall off.
That is weird, assuming this is your bike below it should have a Performance CX Gen 4:

Go back to the dealer and question them. My local dealer isn't too helpful with after sales but yours might be better.
I know Cube had some supply chain issues with the...
I can't get a photo of mine right now because I'm not home but mounting it all neatly is one thing but getting the buttons in a place where they feel good and getting the dropper lever in place where it felt good was a bit of a faff for me so the sliding mount of the LED remote definitely helped.
It looks the same size as the LED remote so possibly not the best minimalist solution, unless of course you simply want to get rid of the Kiox display then it might well be ideal. The LED remote seems to have the better mounting option than the Purion 200 though as it's on dovetails so can slide...
I read somewhere that excess strain on the system could possibly maybe be misconstrued as derestricting by some manufacturers diagnostics software and possibly casue problems somewhere along the line with that because they might think you've been tampering with the bike. Whether that's true or...
That wasn't my initially but could be useful if someone wanted to do away with the Kiox screen. I personally don't mind the Kiox screen it's the LED remote I don't like and that Purion remote looks just as bad tbh.
I like Shimanos small remotes and small separate screens tucked neatly by the...
What I meant was can you just plug and play add it to a bike that already has the Kiox 300 system? The link mentions getting a dealer to add a Kiox 300 display to a bike with the Purion system but does it work the other way around.
Subscribing to this thread because someone at some point will eventually come up with a better solution. The actual button part of the LED remote isn't that bad, it's mainly the whole section with the lights on that makes it so big, maybe we can just hacksaw that section off 🤣
It's a shame Bosch just doesn't redesign the big ugly remote into a smaller streamlined version that would just plug in in place of the current one and allow us to buy it and retrofit it. Making that 'Mini Remote' is almost just a kick in the teeth because it's so close to what we want but not...
Not Cube! Well not my local dealers anyway. I pre ordered a '23 bike in January and didn't receive it until June because of supply shortage and because they were in demand there was no way they were offering any type of discount.
If I'm on the flat or a gentle incline and feel like getting a bit of workout I definitely switch mine off. For me the eMTB isn't about whizzing along all the time while putting in minimal effort. That's the great thing about having different modes, you can choose exactly when to have more of a...
Distance-buying is the key here, in the UK you are legally entitled to return items within 14 days without even giving a reason so the whole misleading advertising doesn't even matter anyway. Taken from .gov:
Online, mail and phone order sales
Online, mail and telephone order customers have the...
Jumping under load in my experience could be any of the following:
Gears not set up right
Derailleur B gap not set right
Bent derailleur hanger
Bent derailleur cage
Worn cassette
I guess start with whatever is cheapest nd easiest to rule out. Emtbs especially suffer from worn cassettes down...
