I just got my $100 windows laptop back from my friend in order to capture the tune that has been successful for mine and another Z1. Unfortunately now if I plug into it and hit connect I get a serial port error and I know nothing about Windows 10 in order to solve it? Worked just fine last time...
At this time the USFS standing here: Electronic Bicycle Use | US Forest Service is nationwide and although they do recognize the Class laws even with the lobbying power of PFB (manufacturers) remain unchanged. Once again on a nationwide basis, not just here in the OR.
There does seem to be some...
"I find it baffling this is an issue at all'
You missed my point that here it doesn't seem to be and drawing attention to have "laws" that discriminate via "Class" is at this time not necessary? I personally have a throttle on my bike and for the 100' or so that it gets used in a days riding to...
You would be hard pressed to find even one cohesive EMTB group in the OR I am afraid. But perhaps you can start one.....
The class laws are not in effect in Oregon but eBikes are as you suggest not able to legally access state, USFS and BLM land, including beaches, that don't allow motorized...
I've noticed the same thing but only intermittently. A blip of the throttle gets it done I have found until the PAS kicks in or I can switch to a lower gear. The only thing I use the throttle for actually is for starting off 90% of the time.......
Use steel cogs for longer life. Damn the weight penalty. Cheaper to replace also which you will be doing more than the average eBike dependent on how it is ridden of course.
Would definitely go with a 52v 21700 cell battery, best combo I have used with my M620.
Chicks dig it.
And this just in: https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2023/02/17/1157841943/researchers-found-a-new-approach-to-a-male-contraceptive-used-only-by-mice-so-fa
OP started out with good intentions but in actuality the reality of the request and it's potential outcome is so far fetched that no wonder it has devolved into a mish mash of humour and misogyny. Sedona may be a good place to ride but I doubt that anyone on an international forum is going to...
Not much of a "TV" guy but I poached my son's xfinity account to watch it, first one in many years last time being when I lived in CO. and the Bronco's were involved, because I wanted the Eagles to win. My son's SO is from Phillie and her Mom is in a bad way health wise so I was rooting for her...
TQ/Moderator, wonder if it is possible to move all your build posts to their own thread? It would probably better serve those that are building up a bike rather than having to sort through here as well as make this thread easier to navigate for those that aren't?
All batteries have the capacity to be rebuilt/cells replaced it is the firmware/software that companies install in order to make their system "proprietary" that is the fly in the ointment.
Also the transfer of the battery needing rebuilding to the rebuilder via standard shipping practices is...
@phunka What I got the most out of info wise was this: Bafang Ultra Review. Most powerful Mid-Drive PAS motor just got better
At least as far as explanations of the different parameters but their "smoove tune" didn't work at all for me so I set out on my own by guess and by golly mostly with...
To me it is not so much about the Class 3 28mph law, which most e motor systems and 1x gear systems found on eMTB's would struggle to achieve on flat ground for any length of time anyway and certainly not uphill, but the ability to go 22/23mph without the 20mph cutout. When I ride with my buddy...
My revelation move to shorter cranks, Miranda 155's, occurred after a pedal strike on my new to me 150mm travel bikes second ride. I was coasting into a left hand turn with my right pedal down and it dug into the ground and sent me off the bike. I thought about it and could only come up with the...
