Who ever drank that piss water anyway? I'm sure they will miss your business Irie. I've been boycotting AB for years. Except one MTB race I worked at bitd that BL was the sponsor of that was hot as hell and when teeth crackling cold on a hot day anything will do and it was free.
It is gay pride...
Necro thread revival, with added Gary bonus boffing!
Today I got lured into watching a UCI video on WC Enduro practice in advance of this weekends race in Italy. They also made mention that the E Enduro race was going to get some coverage as well. Overall just a teaser to get the faithful to...
Who else had one of these BITD? Mine was a '69 in BRG with the stick shift 3spd like the repro's. I rode that thing all over and it was the first bike I had that would make the hill up to my hood.
A number of years ago a friend and I had just gotten done with a loop ride and ran into some friends, in fact a wedding party of sorts, consisting of 3 men and a woman who was the sister of the groom. We decided to go for another lap with them as our next objective was the wedding and so we...
Yet being the operative word.
I think eBikes would make a great platform for a Poker Run/Orienteering type event personally. Maybe even a 24hrs of alternative power with camping and carrying on. Have a stock class and an open class for the derestrictors.
Just performed that operation on my bike yesterday added a token and did a service also as long as I had it apart. Pretty easy procedure following this:
I didn't do the Charger conversion, yet.
Haven't gotten a chance to try it out yet.
I have the 50E's in my 15AH 52v DT battery with a 40A controller and they work really well. I can squeeze 30+ miles out of it riding easy and 25 without limiting my speed and use of the power modes with decent elevation. Problem with heavy bikes is that they are not noted for their long range...
That link to that other Intense was my immediate thought. If you can come up with a surround like that for your bike you can send the specs of what will fit in there to herbert@dtbattery and he will hook you up with a good 21700 cell, highly recommended, shrink wrap battery too fit inside.
You should be fine with the extra added pinch bolts as long as you keep an eye on them. Mine don't have them for the motor I use. Otherwise I really have gotten used to their length after many years of using 170mm's.
I wish the ISIS ones had pinch bolts they are really soft and don't want to settle down. Have to use blue loctite but even then you have to keep an eye on them but the 155 length is great, unless you run out of power and have to pedal uphill......
Nice Daxxie but in order to take advantage of the higher Amp BMS wouldn't you be better off with the MoliCel P45 21700 cells that instead of 10A have a 45A rating?
My E22 since day 1 fresh out of the box and setup by a competent mechanic, if I do say so myself, has shifted for crap. Original drivetrain was SRAM 12spd GX. In conjunction with the torque capability of the M620 it didn't last very long either so I set about other less expensive options as I...
This bike was posted in the Frey Dopamine thread by @Cit and is a similar design but with some substantial differences? Link to the Pinkbike article about it that has more info than their website: Hybridizer Announces Its First Bike eMTB Frame, SANN - Pinkbike
It is an idler design which is...
This is what I received from the sales dept. but the pricing is now up on their website: Highly recommended! Frey's Best Full Suspension eBike 2023 - Powerful Motor & EMTB Capable
Pretty spendy for an alu bike these days perhaps? Lead time is 2-3 months with 50% down. Won't be in the cards...
Interesting. A few different features, notably the rear dropout structure. I can't really confirm from the photos if it is UDH but as it is such a modular piece it would be easy to make it so over having to refit and entire chainstay. Still not convinced that anti pedal kickback is all that...
Initial contact with their sales rep was not encouraging as far as they won't delete build parts because they are "maufacturers" that build on an assembley line....like they couldn't just leave the wheels and drivetrain off when it is boxed. So I just made a request for a medium frame with the...
