I heard back from one of their sales reps today via email after I had sent a request for more information the other night. I pretty much have abandoned the idea but replied with what my special needs would be re: no drivetrain as I would spec the SRAM T-Type and no wheelset as I get a deal on...

Upon looking at it further I have to agree that it is close but still far away. 27kg isn't all that good either, my Z1 only weighs 1/2kg more than that. As far as RM goes their design has different stresses on the idler/drive cog which in their design actually puts less strain on the chainring...

Take my $$. The good the way I see it for my needs: More modern geometry with a slacker head angle and steeper seat tube and short chain stays. Aluminum which will keep the cost down and the strength against dingage higher. CF doesn't bend..... UDH or Universal Derailleur Hanger. This to me...

    Road E-bike section

One kind of started here: e750d Gravel bike But don't let the above fool you because I have been many places that I go on my eMTB with my drop bar bikes. It just is a different vibe, as mainly in vibration due to smaller volume tires and rigid frames/forks. I'm sure there are some on here that...

    e750d Gravel bike

So according to the above, embarassingly, this bike has been on the shelf for 3yrs for the most part. After that picture was taken with the early adopter GRIN Any Axle that turned out to have been ill treated, by me, and only ran for a few hundred miles before it gave up the ghost after I had...

Do's and Don'ts for e-bike battery care. What do you do to keep your battery performing at its best?

Due to the fact that the voltage drops with percentage used you will start to lose actual power past say 50% and it will get worse from there. I would suggest you keep the battery more towards the upper end which would mean charging up to 80% after every ride in your case it looks like?

    Pic of the Day

Out of pocket iphone shot from the hip while cruising the beach @ 20mph. He was standing in the water and by the time I got my camera set he had taken off and was flying by me. He was a big boy for sure and his size is what originally caught my eye. Eagles by me are plentiful this time of year...

    DH World Cup thread

Was watching the Giro today and they cut to some eRoadrace finish that was using some of the course I would guess before or after the pro's came through. It was kind of comical because the riders looked like they were going way less fast than the peloton would have in that situation going for...

    Bafang M630 Thread

Thanks for that update Neeko. This won't have any use to me and my current UART M620 which has plenty enough low end torque for my needs and will rip the chain in half no problem if not careful! I saw that 5spd IGH on another forum and as much as I would be attracted to an IGH that could handle...

Tire Pressure - Does anyone ride higher pressures like they did in the dawn MTB

@JHH Way too many variables to say what tyre psi will work best for you. Best way I know is to set up a test area that represents the terrain you will mostly be riding. Pump up your tyres to more than you think you will need and ride your course at your best pace. Then let out air in...

If it does turn out to be the battery then I'm sure that Herbert will stand by it. I still can't see how it would be if you are getting a good reading off the terminals? I am having my own issues here where my motor cuts out completely and throws no error code within a mile or so of my place...

    Quick coffee machine poll

A few years ago when I got sick of using my Aeropress every morning I googled coffee makers and the testing I saw said that the actual temp the water is introduced at was key. There were two that passed that test, one was like $400 and made in the Netherlands and the other was $100 called the...

    Price of a spare battery

My preference is herbert@dtbatterydotcom in Shenzhen. Good communications and able to spec with either 18650 or 21700 cells. As an example my 52v 780wh 21700 cell battery was about $400 usd shipped to the OR. Keep in mind that the cases for the E10 and the LC frame are different and you would...

@Cigales here is a shot of the torque tab I am using: There are some pretty major discrepancies from the tune you have posted it appears but I am not smart enough to determine if there is any answer to your problem all I know is that it works on my motor which puts out full power? Edit: I...
