Or make your own! Australian Anzac biscuit recipe is dead simple and I add a shitload of seeds and they keep forever. Oats porridge for breakfast is my secret fuel for long days.
I am about to order this as forks need a service but I am having trouble finding the seal number for the low friction seals. Or can someone give me the old part number so I don't order that one?
So I bought an Amarok in January and I love it. It is comfortable and goes damn hard with the 250 or so ps. I put some wooden lugs under an old bike stand for easy load option.
There is quite some hair around my navel and fluff in it as I gaze down thinking.....
Probably one of the best looking bikes I have seen with an external battery.
Surely having the shock mounted on the top tube must offset the gains with battery placement in regards to lower centre of...
Given the USD EURO and CHF are within pissing distance of 1 to 1 it's fair to say that the target price of Specialised 500w batteries is 1 per watt and 700w is 1.5 per watt. In 2019 I saw a bunch of 500w batteries sell for less than Chf 400 here as a lot of people upgraded to 700w and sold their...
I bought a bunch of Maxxis tyres on Swiss Ebay one was a 2.5 Asegui, that worked a treat in wet Swiss conditions. Currently trying a mullet setup on my Levo so using the 2.3 hillbilly it came with. I love the look of fat tyres but skinny seems to grip better, so maybe 2.5 instead of 2.6?
I wrapped it further along the spoke but the location is a bit dictated by clearance from the caliper, ideally 3 layers or wraps but start off with 3 equal length pieces a bit too long as you need to stretch it to get it to stick, lastly cut off equal amounts of excess so the disc stays...
My tip from a while ago.
I haven't seen this mentioned much before but I use Scotch rubber splicing tape (self vulcanising), cheap, indestructible and never comes off. I also use it to make 2 or 3 rubber dampers around the spokes on my brake discs, the end of noisy brakes forever also less...
How can you ride that bike pedals that colour? I would estimate you are losing 30% durability and performance by not colour matching.
Have you thought about dairy farming as a career? If you could milk a cow like you can milk the threads on here, you will be a rich man! Keep them coming!
Myself I bought a Levo and very happy but it is about the store as much as the bikes as they are all pretty good. Similar age and 150 travel is not too much given how you can tune the suspension nowadays. I am not in Australia anymore but would go with the Levo as it is the quietest and...
I can't comment on the casing but I have both on my Levo, the Assegai is better in all conditions compared to the DHF which was a step above a Butcher.
So all this talking and malarkey about tyres has made me curious. As luck would have it I bought a bunch (for Chf 30!) all are nearly new so obviously someone has a Maxxis sponsor as they came with bags, stickers, belts and a calculator! I tried the DHF 2.8 on the front and straight ahead grip...
