I added some wooden blocks under a budget bike rack so it locks on the tailgate, I have a rolltop cover which takes a bit of floor space at the front but is handy for stowing bags on a trip. Handles 5 bikes at a pinch with pedals removed. Bloody handy at bike parks to do a bit of maintenance...
A week in a bike park will get you in the air! It's worth getting someone to film you so you can see what is happening compared to the grommets on Utoob.
If they have a 2019 then price should be amazingly attractive! Depending on the country and dealer 15% off retail is "normal" on current models but I I have seen 30% on older models. 2020 was a price jump on 2019 but had the 700w battery which meant it was about the same value.
So much is terrain specific, I found a newish Butcher far superior to a DHF both in 2.8 in the rear. This summer I am enjoying a 2.5 high roller on the back, good traction for braking and nice driftability with a 2.6 Assegai keeping the front on line. For someone like me trying to improve their...
I would put a Maxxis Assegai 2.6 (hardest compound) on the front (ignore all the comments about rolling resistance you would not notice it unless you were told about it) and try the existing tyre on the back then go ride and look at what everyone else in your area is using as any recommendation...
Easier with a longer bolt so a quick trip to the hardware store for a 100/150mm x 6mm bolt for a CHF is worhwhile and you won't ruin your head stem bolt.
Yup I know and tried that with a Butcher and DHF which was ok and I already had the 2.5 high roller in nearly new condition. I need to do a few more local rides to see how it works here. Too many choices and lack of skills to really say what is best!
A while ago I bought about 10 Maxxis tyres on Ebay for Chf50 so I have been working through them, one was an Assegai 27x2.5 which I liked. On my 2018 I have gone mullet with a 29 in front which came with a 2.4x29 Specialised hillbilly over winter it was quite good compared to the DHF I was...
So a few random thoughts on kid's bikes. I have been tough on my boys and they have hardtails and they learn how to ride light and pick lines. The lighter the bike the better but I got tried of straightening wheels so some Spank wheels are working a treat with 2.5/6 Maxxis tyres in the bike park...
Under Armour® Official Store – FREE Shipping available is worth a look for functional tops and tights (with baggys over!) they wash well and last forever, especially their cold performance wear.
I bought a package of 10 Maxxis tyres for 50 Chuffs, one was an Assegai 2.5 which I put on the front of my 18 Levo. I didn't really notice the drag but that is probably just me! Grip is great so I am now running a mullet setup and ordered a 2.6 x 29. I would not use it on the back. I tried a few...

I have heard anecdotal stories about too much or little oil and grease in new forks and dampers. Youtoob is awash with videos about servicing suspension so I would recommend that and then setup from new. Good links on here to show you how, worst case you learn how to service suspension! I am an...
Anyone want to comment on whether there is more failures with the 2.1 compared to the 1.3, also higher rates for both with carbon frames? With carbon frames could it be that people who fork out for carbon frames actually ride them harder and longer?
