It is a bit odd but I have seen a few of the online German retailers selling SW frames without batteries at attractive prices, hopefully it is just a glitch in the Matrix! Now if they sold the white frame I would be all over it like..............
2022 Comp and Comp carbon are due for release, there is a dealer event on the 5th August in Switzerland and I viewed the pictures/specs at a dealer last week. Prices in CHF are 100 more than 21 model, colors matt black, red, blue and dark sage green, dealer commented the Oak green (I agree) was...
I believe the 22 Comp and Comp carbon will drop this week, I was at a dealer a month ago and August 5th is a dealer event. Last week at another dealer I could order (available end August in Switzerland I believe) a 22 comp Chf7700 or carbon Chf9000 so about a 100 up on 21 models, colors red...
Help me decide! I am going to bite the bullet on a new Levo Comp, the options I have are 2020 for 5600 or 2021 for 6150, I am leaning towards the 2020 because of 4 years warranty and I will swap the forks from my 2018 Levo (Revelation with 2021 160mm air spring and RC3 damper) which will give me...
Did you end up taking out the plastic bump stop? What effect did it have?
I am doing a full damper service on a Monarch RT and after searching far and wide still haven't found any information on changing the oil volume/viscosity and the air preload charge for the damper apart from what...
I struggled with this a lot and tried nearly everything. I now have gone to 29er front with a 2.6 Assegai which is a bit better on roots but I suspect it is more the grip generally that it may move on a root but recovers immediately afterwards.
I watched a YouTube clip about this recently and learned a couple of things. High rise bars say 50mm will raise the bar in the vertical plane but spacers under stem will shorten the reach (as will stem length) so it depends on whether you need to go up or up and back as to what you do.
You can buy matt black plastic tape 50mm wide, no more scratches. Take the wheels off after a couple of weeks and check axle nuts are still tight. All bike factories are working at 2x capacity so keep a close eye on everything.
I have a 2.6 Assegai on the front and it will give you confidence but I would not use it on the back as it is a bit draggy. Use what ever you have on the back until they are worn and see what feels best and why then replace with something similar.
I would get a second hand Revelation and add 2021 air spring plus 2.1 charger, will be under 500 and you will have a top fork. I have done this myself and 2.1 damper means a lot easier servicing of forks which you can learn along the way from YouTube.
Simple check for sealed bearings is to take out the axle or bolt and rotate it with your fingers, if it feels lumpy, notchy or not completely smooth then replace them. Easy job, support hub with a wooden block with a hole in it large enough for the bearings to fit into and tap them out with a...
I have a 29x2.6 Assegai on my 2018 Levo and I like it. It is taking me some time to get used to it as the front is so stuck to the ground and I don't have the confidence to really load/use the front to it's full potential. Speed through root gardens has dramatically improved.
Is anyone else having trouble connecting their 2018 Levo to the new app of late, according to build numbers all is good but it won't connect? Or should I delete the bike and reinstall?
When replacing the damper with 2.1 upgraded damper is it correct you leave out the rebound damper seal head from the old damper and then don't require oil in the upper leg?
