Hi Ecky I agree, it does have appeal, at least in theory. As you say a larger 38 tooth front chain ring, might help offset the very large 48 tooth rear, but as I've not even got mine yet I think I will wait to try it first :rolleyes: Your Jam is Eagle 12 speed ?
