Stopped off at the golfie on the way home from Fort William WC for a few quick laps on the ebike. Surprisingly dry and loose after all the rain we had further up North
They've done a bit of work on the top of dances with wolves too, there's a new entrance when you get into the woods and they've tidied up some of the berms that were a bit rutted on Friday. Wonder if they'll run that into repeat offender lower bits with a brutal fireroad sprint between
I'm not...
I was over in inners on Friday and the car park and all trails (from what I saw) are open, you could see they had started to build the finish ramp into the field at the bottom.
Riding golfie today and no restrictions currently 😎
I'm up here to watch the race for the first time, can't wait! Looks like it's going to be wet and breezy one so should be a good watch
I'd love to see Reece or Danny take it, will be interesting to see how well Cathro does too. I think Amaury might win this though if he manages to stay...
@Tubby G Lewis is such a fun trail! It's hard to make out how tight and awkward the bottom half is but trying to keep a good flow takes a fair bit of practise. Definately a good trial to session a few times if you park down that side :)
Yeah that's the one, there's two sets of roots just as you cross over the path before the bottom, first on the downslope that are nothing to worry about, the second does have a bit of a large root in an awkward direction. They look a little daunting at first but if it's dry you should be able to...
Haha atleast you came away without injury, it's such a tricky turn to make with the natural speed the trail takes you into the steep bit, I always have to warn new people before they go down...
Funkatronical has to be one of my favourites! Have you done anaheim? Starts in the same place but...
I don't know anybody who hasn't come off on two's a bastard steep bit, I think it's actually easier in winter when there's a tiny bit of grip in the main rut, it's like concrete with a fine layer of slick dust on top right now. Coming up to the trees is always a bit of hope for the best! :p...
Haha not quite @Tubby G, I could have maybe got a top 30 without that but I made a few mistakes and didn't really do any training on that bike so struggled a bit with power on the pedally stuff. Gears were playing up a bit too after bending my mech in practise too.
I'm also rubbish at...
Back on the normal bike this weekend for Boltby Bash Enduro. First time I've entered this but probably the most fun enduro I've been on!
Not the most technical race but found it tricky to ride fast in the dust, loads of the berms were blown out by race day and the sandpits just sucked you in...
I have the 2021 Level R with the 625Wh battery. It's a tank of a bike (27.5kg in XL - I think the newer model might have shaved some of that weight off) but I really like how it rides. The suspension seems to work really well and handles big hits nicely. If you want something that feels like a...
Yes you will need to pay VAT and any customs charges.
My last order was made on 12.04 and it's finally arriving tomorrow (10.05). It was stuck in customs for 3 weeks for some reason, it's usually here within a week of ordering.
Keep an eye on the tracking. They usually ship with DHL who will...
I'm not an electrical engineer but... The power pack you linked has a LiFePO4 battery that is 22.4V DC. To charge your ebike battery it then has to convert (invert?) this to 220-240V AC so you can use your household plug in it. The 0.85 conversion rate will be the electrical losses in doing...
There's a small gap below the power/light buttons, dirt and grit can get into here and will stop you pushing the button down.
I'd try and get a toothbrush in there and see if you can give it a bit of a clean out.
I've got Victron kit and I think my 4A charger uses about 190w power at peak, if you have a fast charger you may need to size up.
For batteries, if it's just sitting in your garage and you aren't too bothered about size weight you could go for a cheaper lead acid/AGM option. LiFePO4 would be...
One from Dalby Forest yesterday on the pedal bikes with the insta360 one rs
I've had a play with the chest mount but there's alot of shaking in the footage, I might need to tighten the straps up to help a bit but the top of lid mount works quite well for following people.
I've also noticed...
I notice when I first upload mine to youtube they'll be 360p but the HD version is processing in the background and won't be available for a while after.
YT might be automatically selecting a lower quality version based on your internet speed, unless it's just a setting you need to change? They...
