Levo motor resistance pedalling with motor turned off

You have to turn the spider / chainring rearward, this turns the chain and allows you to clean / oil it without having to spin the back wheel.

Mudguards for a Specialized Turbo Levo FSR 6Fattie XL ?

Very true. But there is nothing worse than getting an eye full of muddy puddle when you are on it on a trail. You could wear shades / glasses but they are so hit and miss, due to being too dark, not dark enough or steam up ?

Levo motor resistance pedalling with motor turned off

Just been doing some digging around and this site (Here) specifies the motor disengages when the speed restriction is exceeded, potentially meaning it is always engaged as default.

Mudguards for a Specialized Turbo Levo FSR 6Fattie XL ?

I use a muckynutz fat face fender XL on the front - it is great.

Levo motor resistance pedalling with motor turned off

Hi all. Cleaning the bike and the chain and when turning the crank to clean the chain, I noticed some resistance (seemed higher than before) and you could hear what sounded like motor / gears turning. Does anyone else experience this please?

    Greetings from the Midlands

RLSCC has a website and in theory you don't have to be a member. Meet up at the bike yard (Giant bike shop) in Leam for around 6.30pm for a 6.45 departure. Generally finish at a pub for around 9. I run in ECO mode for about 97% of the time on a Thursday.

No issues at all. Plus they see it as this is how it is going to be in the future

New purpose for emtb in the snow ?

Had a couple of inches of snow around here and the kids wanted to go sledging and I wanted to do some biking, problem solved ? Let some air out of the rear and had the motor on trail and turbo mode, bike was awesome ?

Specialized Turbo Levo vs Kenevo Review, my demo day

Great review thanks. My Levo Comp has a dropper, could you not go for one of them? I also have the 460 battery and don't really find it being a problem, did 6 hours in the saddle last weekend at Coedy and still had 30% left ?

    Greetings from the Midlands

Cool - especially in this weather - you will have to try and get over one Thursday evening for the RLSCC mtb ride.

    Battery usage in the cold

Yep and if you have the bike on a bike rack and it is close to freezing, then you may want to do the same

    Battery usage in the cold

Bikes were not allowed in the bunk house.

    Battery usage in the cold

Was in Coedy on the weekend on the Levo and when I went to give the battery a quick top before the ride on Saturday it basically would not charge and would not switch on. Basically just beeped and flashed 3 red lights. The bike had been out in a locked bike shed overnight with about 12 other...

Levo damaged freehub and seized wheel bearing

Replaced both bearings in the rear hub as well as the freehub tonight. Wheel feels better now than the day I had it ? Off to Llandegla tomorrow and Coedy Sat / Sun so it is going to get a hammering ?

    Wheel building - what hub?

Hope hubs are loud, personally I like that - it makes people aware you are coming and to get out of the way ?

Your preconceived reasons for choosing an emtb?

Great post. I used to ride a Stumpjumper S Works FSR before the Levo, but on climbs I would always be getting my heart rate up to 185bpm - I am 43 and in theory I shouldn't be getting my HR that high. The Levo allows me to go the speed I want to whilst maintaining my HR to a more respectable...

Talk about derestricting / modifying bikes. Allowed or not? Poll - vote now!

Wow - lots of varied opinions on here which is great. Personally I sometimes find the 15mph limit a problem on some single track trails. When the motor cuts out and you are concentrating on keeping the bike on the trail, you start to wonder has something broken - a bit off putting and you can...

    Wheel building - what hub?
