    Cleaning the Turbo Levo?

You can pretty much spray everything with a garden hose - apart from the battery connector. Never use a power / jet wash on it, if you do keep it well away from bearings and electrical connectors. That's what I have done for the last year and so far so good ?

Levo damaged freehub and seized wheel bearing

Hope hubs use 4off pawls so the loading on each one will be a little less than the 3off on this one - or currently down to 2off ?

Levo damaged freehub and seized wheel bearing

Had a great ride at Cannock on Sunday only to find last night that the wheel bearing had seized / become very stiff in the rear hub. On stripping down the rear hub I also found that one of the pawls within the freehub has sheared and so is only latching on 2 pawls, images below show good and...

    Battery Health

Thanks again for this. I wonder which cells Specialized use? They have different sized packs, do they manage this with the number of cells or changing the type of cells used....

    Review Nukeproof horizon pedals

I used to have Shimano half and half a long long long time ago and then went to full on SPD. To be honest, when I am doing a local ride around here with the club, there is a lot of stopping and starting which can be a pain for clipping in and out, but you just get on with it. My biggest gripe is...

Brakes getting spongy / excessive travel!!!!

Hmmmm probably just run out, will check on that, but I think it has just gone over a year old. I dont think its a fault though, with the lack of adjustment and potentially the seal design not stopping moisture getting through, the fluid just needs changing more regularly. Although I could be...

Brakes getting spongy / excessive travel!!!!

It's a Comp so they are the standard SRAM Guide R ones. They only have lever position adjustment.

Brakes getting spongy / excessive travel!!!!

Anyone else have problems with there brakes getting spongy after a few months riding? The brake lever travel also starts to increase which is a right pain, as when decending on some steep single tracks you struggle to get the rear to lock up. It's the rear one which gets effected the most, I...

    Battery Health

If you are going from the old FW to the new FW you will notice a huge difference. I personally love it, but I have also seen a lot of people saying they hate it. Before in ECO mode you could still get high torque output from the motor / lots of assist, with the new FW this is capped to whatever...

    Greetings from the Midlands

Hi all, I am from Wales (close to Llandegla) and moved to Leamington Spa 17 years ago where I am now a member of RLSCC a great local bike club. As far as I am aware I have the only Levo in these parts and I love it. At first people were taking the p1ss saying what is the point, blah blah but...

Also I have took a screen grab of the battery health, it is now at 100% I have had a recent FW update on both the motor and battery, I am surprised to see at 100%

    Battery Health

That's handy to know, thanks for that. I only like to use Turbo when I am having a mess about or sometimes going through deep mud, I want to get fit and ride longer and using Turbo means less effort from me and battery goes flat quicker.

Official Specialized Gen1 Turbo Levo thread

Cheers (y) The red rocket is a very clean red cover I had on my old Garmin 510. I upgraded to the 820 as I wanted more comms / interaction with the bike and the Garmin handlebar remote is great for changing power modes as well flicking through the pages :) It was quite simple to set up Garmin...

Creaky Praxis cranks on 2017 Levo comp

I had a similar issue, turns out the crank just needed re-greasing and the cover was broken (boss had broken off). Specialized know they have a problem with the covers and all new covers are now made from a different type of plastic and are a little bit more robust, managed to get one FOC. The...

    Battery Health

For battery health to drop so quickly means a suspect cell or it simply needs another discharge / charge up as a bit of a reset. I have had mine for a year now, still on 93% from memory and gets used weekly. I try to not to let the SOC (state of charge) drop below 20-30%, this is where Li-Ion...
