    Shimano assist consistency

It's not like it's doing those things Constantly but rather infrequently and some of them can be resolved by just restarting the system so I think I will only contact Shimano in the off season. Not point ruining the season now because of minor problems.

    Shimano assist consistency

I did about 2000km with my steps8000 and bt-e8010 battery so far and the only complaints I have about the system is the noise, the range and the consistency of the power delivery. Noise and range will hopefully be improved with the new motor. But what I mean with consistency is that my motor...

walk mode - does it work at all?

yeah its a fucking nanny state thing. God forbid somebody uses this as a motorcycle! In theory the downshift lets it work at higher speeds but if you push a little to fast it cuts out immidately so it's more annoying than helpful in most cases. And when you can ride again you have to shift back...

    Shimano Battery Life Poll

So here is what a few guys over there measured. They divided it through 1:17 to simulate the efficiency of the charger. This is not pinpoint accuracy but it gives some hints that not alle manufacturers operate with the same strategy. The batteries are either new, which means the measurement took...

    Shimano Battery Life Poll

Yeah they measured what went into the charger and it was between 460 and 510wh.

    Shimano Battery Life Poll

Someone did that in this thread: https://www.pedelecforum.de/forum/index.php?threads/steps-akku-bt-e8010-504wh-extern-reichweite-probleme-fragen.52206/page-107#post-1271023 But I can't find it on mobile right now Edit: They talk about 460 to 510 Wh when the battery was completely empty. But...

    Whats my rights warranty issue

If you do an air chamber service its normal that oil is sitting there. If its too much it could be a faulty seal (which is unlikely for a new shock) or too much oil filled in while it was assembled. But like I said: better too much oil than too little.

    Whats my rights warranty issue

Could be just oil from the positive chamber which is normal to a degree especially if it's a new shock. You don't want to run it completely dry.

Clattering coming from new CX2020 motor

Brose doesn't rattle as far as I know but they are really unreliable. I wouldn't buy until the new motor iterations have a few trouble free miles on them. The rattling of the shimano starts only on really rough stuff compared to the bosch but a new motor is coming from them. I don't know about...

Are Shimano staying in the motor game ?

I think first an foremost Shimano has to stay on the ball reach-wide. And about the weight redistribution thing: bikes get bought because of the looks. Integrated batteries make no sense technically speaking but it's what the average customer wants. If you go into ebike fb groups you notice...

I think the 35 has the same moco damper than the yari? Ober at mtb news some people drill bigger compression ports and the fork looses its harshness. https://www.mtb-news.de/forum/t/yari-tuning.907864/page-9#post-16536405

    2 Bar Crash out

It depends on your battery health, weight plus a few other factors. I should have wrote "one bar" but if you need to get over a mountain to reach your destination/car I would be careful with boost in general but it also depends on the boost setting how much energy it pulls. But riding boost...

    2 Bar Crash out

Nobody can say for sure why it's happening. Some claim the bms-system is conservative and if you pull too much power and the battery current crumbles because it sits below 40% it cuts off to protect it from being discharged too much, which could result in a faster ageing battery. Then the...

    2 Bar Crash out

Yep that's normal. If you only have two bars left never ride up a steep hill in boost longer than a few seconds.
