    Cube Reaction 750

Cost cutting I suspect or to reduce damage by over tightening, designed to fail 🤷‍♂️ cheaper than replacing bearings. I just replaced mine with a generic alloy one, you don't see it as I have the kiox covering it.

    Cube Reaction 750

Common problem with a lot of Cubes that come fitted with plastic caps that can split. I replaced mine with an alloy one straight away.

Thanks for the info. I've read others report of the rear axle coming loose. I think you can get a quick release axle that also solves the problem. Fingers crossed I haven't had any similar issues with mine, the hub and axle seem solid, though I did have two go's at setting up tubeless but...

What issues are you having with the wheels? I've read a few people don't rate the stock Newman wheels. What version are they? The action team comes with the Newman evolve wheels and I'm happy with them so far, they took some hits in Wales and seem to have held up well.

Uplift, I thought about doing a full climb but I wanted to get the most runs out of the day as I won't be back for a while.

You got me intrigued, where are they? I know there are a couple of trials off to the right hand side as you come up changtonbury hill from the car park and the old lions trail is to the left.

It is beautiful up there 👍 The steyning trails are great too, if a little extreme for a novice. Even the blue run is pretty difficult but I'm getting faster every time. There are some massive features, if you're an experienced ride/jumper I suspect you'd have a lot of fun up there. Ebike is...

    What bars do you run?

Cheers for the input chaps. Think I'll try some 50mm rise bars. I prefer a higher bar, the 25mm are felling a bit low. Wondering if a shorter stem would also help?

    What bars do you run?

Following on from the what saddle and grips do you run (thanks for all the suggestions on that, went with wtb saddle and ergon grips in the end) I'm interested in what bars every one is running. Do you like high rise, low, wide, narrow or anything in-between? I'm currently running the carbon...

Need help deciding on a reliable motor.

What about hylomar blue gasket and sealing compound, have you had any experience with this? I've used it on motorcycle engines with good results, it may prove useful for E motors also 🤷‍♂️

Baby steps, picked up my first emtb about a month ago having not ridden a bike for years. This weekend finally plucked up the courage to do some small jumps. Absolutely loving it. Dunno what's going on with the chicken arms though, any pointers?

What grips and saddle do you run?

Seems the SQlab is a popular choice, spendy saddle though 😯 is it worth the money

What grips and saddle do you run?

Cheers guys. I like the look of the ergon 3 grips with the wings so I might give something like that a try. Still not decided on a saddle

Shock Trunnion bolt alternatives? +warning to others

Thanks beaker I'll give them a try 👍 Cheers Jack, getting an M10x1.0 die was my next option. I've found some titanium partially threaded bolts that I could modify. Only difference is the head diameter is slightly smaller so I'd have to use a 20mm washer under it.

Shock Trunnion bolt alternatives? +warning to others

Thanks for the info Jack. Are you referring to the Vitus trunnion bolt kit? I had seen it but the reviews state it's a slightly different size to my cube bolt. 17mm long as opposed to 20mm, and a head diameter of 21mm as opposed to 20mm I don't know if these size differences would cause any...
