Hi,

Abit of a random question, just recieved a Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro today and noticed that some plastic on the headset is cracked and squeezed in. I will also add pictures.

Looks like it’s been over tightened during the build.

That should be an alloy cap, not plastic! Get yourself an ebike wanker replacement

Common problem with a lot of Cubes that come fitted with plastic caps that can split.
I replaced mine with an alloy one straight away.

Ahh ok, which one did you go for? I will also replace it with a better one. Strange is was plastic in the first place.

Cost cutting I suspect or to reduce damage by over tightening, designed to fail cheaper than replacing bearings.

I just replaced mine with a generic alloy one, you don't see it as I have the kiox covering it.
