Run mine on the right as well, it's also a left hand shifter fitted upside down, fits with the other controls better. So down button goes up an assist level, haven't bothered to reprogram it as I like to think of it as a sequential gearbox. Also pisses my mates off when they ride my bike, double...
I have the Yakima whispbars and use them with Thule 598s. Clamps the down tube OK on my E-Sommet although sits a bit close to the terminals. Not had any problems but don't feel all that solid and are a pain in the arse to slide in from the sides. The Yakima rack does look better, believe they...
Got bored of all the purple bits on mine so have toned it down again. Might get some colour matched fork graphics but not sure. Slik not answering emails and have jacked their prices up. Looking at Ride graphics, much better prices! Anyone used them?
Good luck with CRC. They offered me £30 as a goodwill gesture, when I got the final bill (45 for the pointless firmware update that Madison insisted on and then 75 for the subsequent work) I went them the receipts for 120, they offered 75 and I took it. At least I'm riding again, christ alive...
For what it's worth just picked up my Vitus from the shop with a new E8000 fitted, Madison UK got a delivery last week. As I said I'm quite relieved it's not an EP8!
Was told it should have a new 2 year warranty but not got that in writing, think I'll drop Madison an email and ask them to confirm
Not really the great leap forward I'd been hoping for. The rattling, anti tamper software and still lacking bearing serviceability all negatives for me. Picking up my E-Sommet with new motor under warranty tomorrow, had been hoping it would be an EP8 but not bothered now!
I had the call from the LBS today to say my bike is ready collect with the new motor fitted. Finally! Props to Wildside in Tunbridge Wells, been a lot of grief over a bike I didn't buy from them and they are charging me a very fair price. Next will be the discussion with CRC over them paying for...
I got the call from the LBS today to say replacement motor has arrived and bike ready to collect (been in the shop nearly 2 months). He didn't say it was an EP8 and I didn't ask as it allows me to dream a little longer, very much doubt it is though
I had a call from the shop on Tuesday to say that Madison have just got motors back in stock so hopefully I'll have it back next week. Been in the shop since July 6th, started the warranty claim late March.....
Would I buy another ebike from CRC now? Nope! Very much avoiding using them at all...
I have the 165 Shimanos and they're good, ideally I'd like a 160 version though, not so much for DH trails where you have enough momentum to time pedal strokes but more for tech flat and uphill trails. Shame Shimano don't do a 160 and I'm not sure I trust Mirandas either. Also the name of that...
Really don't think it's that R120 but will double check. Still riding it but it's faulting more and more, however it often does first half of a ride no problem but once it's faulted the first time it's game over and it keeps doing it so have to limp home. Also lying it on it's side with weight...
My tale of woe continues - asked Wildside if I could just drop the motor as I was installing a new dropper anyway and they said OK, two weeks later I had a call to say Madison want them to run diagnostics so another 100 mile round trip to collect it then rebuild, another 100 miles. Two weeks...

Only other place I found was SJS but with postage that was £13.50
Hope it fits as the Oneups aren't round at that point
