    Strava service changes

If they would replicate existing segments as ebike segments I may well be tempted to stump up the cash. If not, meh. They've not shown any sign of being interested in doing it so far so I'm not holding my breath

What did you buy your ebike this week?

Well, sweet cheeks, since you asked so nicely.... They have a minimum charge of £40 plus VAT which is a bit steep for a 10 minute job. Mate needs his doing too so they said they'll do them both at the same time for that price which I'm happy with

I'm not sure he was talking about the rotor at that point....

What did you buy your ebike this week?

Cheers Dom, that's the seller I ordered from, just waiting for it to turn up. They sold out of the right size while I was umming and aahing and then one appeared on the listing so I nabbed it, might have been a return. BTW, did you establish if your rotor is warped?

What did you buy your ebike this week?

Well now. Oneup 35mm carbon bars, 35mm clamp for the Shimano display on order Used 223mm Galfer rotor that came with 2 sets of Galfer Pro pads and then got a matching 203 for the rear because mismatched rotors is just wrong 2.6 Magic Mary for the front and 2.6 Vittoria Martello for the back...

    Galfer 223mm rotors

I just got a 203 from Rush to go with a used 223 I picked up cheap. Phone them first to check they have stock, they had the 203 and I got it 2 days after ordering so thumbs up from me

    E-Sommet: 2 Years On

Ta. Caliper mount offsets differ then Don't think it's down to dirty pistons, I pumped them all out a bit and cleaned them up nicely before fitting the disc. Pads are used though. Might wear in but I remember being able to hear the pads on the rotors when I ran Galfer wavy rotors on my GSXR1000!

I see what you mean with the 1mm washers you have put between frame and adaptor on the back. What I'm referring to is the conical washers between the adaptor and the caliper that we're all using - Doomanic's set up is caliper direct to adaptor. Are the SRAM's designed to always have the conical...

    E-Sommet: 2 Years On

Same as that. seems a bit odd that you still have to space it off. Only had one ride on mine before launching myself into a tree, again. Just noticed I've snapped the reach adjuster off the front brake in doing so. Balls. Might try and find a lever assembly for it, might see how much you can...

    E-Sommet: 2 Years On

The adaptors I got with the 223mm rotors aren't marked SB001 but I'm 100% sure they are identical. I have had to space mine out between mount and caliper same as yours but when I look at Doomanic's photo on the "what have you bought" thread his Shimano caliper has no spacers. Mounted on a Yari...

@R120 - where did you buy that from?

Undecided on hope crank arms ??‍♂️

And the correct answer is of course black with a blue chainring! And maybe a gold chain.....

Undecided on hope crank arms ??‍♂️

Yeah, I was thinking of the standard axle type. They look good, albeit pricey but when has that ever stopped us? Fill your boots!

Undecided on hope crank arms ??‍♂️

That said guess ebike fitment is different so might not be an issue

Undecided on hope crank arms ??‍♂️

Neither. I mean they look lovely and all but there are so many reports of them being an utter ball ache to install. Just can't see the point, stick with Shimano

CRC/Wiggle Customer Service issues Vitus specific - please post up problems you have had here

I thought you had to be an authorised Shimano service centre? Other than the spider lockring tool I don't think there are any specialist tools or am I wrong?

They're not even my LBS, the one round the corner from me unfortunately shut it's doors a few months back. Wildside are 40 miles away and I don't know them, fortunately I have a work site round the corner and they've been great to deal with so far. I'll probably find an excuse to buy something...

CRC/Wiggle Customer Service issues Vitus specific - please post up problems you have had here

Well then, my bike started up with the W013 and then E010 codes, fortunately at about month 22 of warranty. First I contacted CRC and asked if I could have Wildside cycles deal with it, as they had not long ago for my mate's E-Sommet. "No", they said, "we need to have the bike sent back to us"...
