I want to keep mine going for another year or two if I can, should have 18 months warranty on the motor and going to get a 630wh battery for it
What do we think the wear on the aluminium pivot hardwear will be like, I'm guessing it's going to develop play at some point? Thinking maybe I should...
It's not bad weight wise really, will take my XL with chunky tyres to just over 23kg without pedals which is still a good bit lighter than most comparable internal battery bikes with 600+ batteries
Looking at getting one from Holland bike shop delivered to my in laws in Germany for £600 but won't see them until June at this rate
My 504 is showing 84% health now and has been dying after 25km nearly all on eco in the recent cold
That's what I was told when mine was done last summer. I asked the shop to get it in writing from Madison but no joy, I don't know how hard they tried though. Might email Madison and ask, it really should be made clear to everyone where they stand
Interested to hear a comparison on the two. Have to be honest, I still love the way my (heavily modified) 2018 rides. Interesting that the MBR said the new one is pretty noisy, mine is about the quietest bike I've had, although I do hate noisy bikes and can be a bit obsessional about it
Rear...
Any real world weights would be good. Weighed my 2018 XL last night, 23kg dead with proper tyres and Mallet DH pedals so around 22.5 without. Only the 504wh battery though
They look awesome on there! Makes me tempted but I really could do with a new battery next. Did your 630 ever turn up? Don't think there's any UK stock at the mo and can't get one sent over currently thanks to good old Brexit....
Ordered the two last Reverse ones from that seller, just turned up. Not very impressed for £35, looking at the materials and quality of construction should cost half that and they would still be making a healthy profit. Zipp one looks better from the photos. Anyway, will mount it up and see how...
Crap is probably a bit harsh but it's just a mud trap with all the clag at the mo. Don't ride in trousers although I might if I could find some long enough in the leg
Got two chain devices to fit to mine and a mate's bikes, not inclined to spend £40 to avoid cutting the crap shimano ones off off but if anyone has one I could have a borrow of for a day that would be much appreciated. Otherwise it's angle grinder time!
Anyone know of a UK seller with stock of the Zipp or Reverse? Google not revealing much and I'm not keen on ordering from Germany given the current shit storm we've created for ourselves
Take it back, Alltricks have them listed but 160 and 165 not in stock. Bit spendy at 120 Euro as well
Also have the FC-EM900 at 130E and the non-hollowtech FC-EM600 cheap enough for 43E. Thought the XTs were top of the E-bike pile, would have guessed that the 900s are a bit heavier?
Actually...
Spotted new FC-M8150 XT cranks going on. Found them on the Shimano website, available in 160mm, want some of those! Not in stock anywhere that I can see yet though
Few cheaper options as well
