How mainstream do you think EMTB's will get?

Hey Doomanic , I don't use Strava or anything but I just googled Princetown, which is near the top of this particular route and I would say in total its about 1400 ft of climbing and 42-43 miles, normally at the finish my remaining range is down to about 3 - 4 miles (Eco) but my brother always...

How mainstream do you think EMTB's will get?

Hey Doomanic This surprised me a little, yes battery performance could always be better, but I often do 40+ miles of track and trail on a single charge and this is way more distance than most non assisted Mtb riders manage, makes you wonder how realistic people really are. I think the current...

    Scott E-Genius 720 Review

Another good video review, watched it early this morning when tucked up in bed, still made me shiver. (y)

[QUOTE="Varaxis, post: 1782 Breaking the law is unethical, and telling the internet about it hurts the reputation of the forum/community. So that's a no then?

Varaxis, you make it impossible to refute a 'central point' as your basic premise has become very confused and rambling. Please, we do not require another morality lecture at this stage, there will be plenty of time to enlighten us all on the subject later, if the vote is passed. A simple yes...

Talk about derestricting / modifying bikes. Allowed or not? Poll - vote now!

I can't quite see how just simply talking about the subject, would in any way incriminate someone, as far as I can see no one has openly admitted to breaking any relevant laws, a few people have admitted to speeding occasionally, myself included and many have stated their opinion as to the...

Talk about derestricting / modifying bikes. Allowed or not? Poll - vote now!

I think a lot of people are missing the point and putting way to much emphasis on de-restriction as the source of our potential future woe's. Ultimately it is the way we interact with other users that will determine if there is to be any need for special or punitive measures against ebikes and...

Talk about derestricting / modifying bikes. Allowed or not? Poll - vote now!

Yes it really would make a positive difference, there are many miles of flat, flowing single track here it the UK where you are constantly up against the limiter on an assisted bike  and on a normal non assisted bike the average speed through these sections can be anything up-to and around...

    Protection (armour etc)

Hi Rob Yes it is, the original was a lot lighter construction than this, but would rub if worn next to the skin, I have always worn base layer to suit the time of year to get over this and I really can wear it all day without any issues. With this new version I think they have looked to make it...

    Protection (armour etc)

It's your extremities that are most vulnerable, hands, elbows, knees, hips and shoulders that are most likely to catch it in a heavy fall, I have an old Dainese safety suit, originally purchased for dirt bike riding and I have used it regularly for the past 18 years or so, I threw away the spine...

    Moustache Samedi 27 Race 9

Hey Rob, nice review. Now that you have tried the Bosch CX's 75Nm of torque do you think that perhaps Brose are somewhat overstating their figures of 90 Nm ? Because if they are correct with 90Nm, then Bosch must be seriously understating at 75Nm?

Hi eFat Sorry to have to disagree with you but, that's not relative at all, that's simply unbelievable, The ave human walks faster than that, 3.1 Mph or 5 Kmh. Where on earth were you riding, or more to the point, not actually riding very much, for those two and a half hours ?

Brakes getting spongy / excessive travel!!!!

Every 600 miles, Fluid change, good bleed and zip tie the levers towards the grips, not silly pressure, just like you were putting the brakes on for a complete stop, and leave them over night, next day cut the ties and enjoy the feel of freshly sorted brakes. You will be surprised how dirty the...
