Unfortunately this is one of the downsides of emtb ownership. You are dealing with a SC dealership but the issue is with the Shimano motor, dealerships don't currently hold stock of replacements and can't just swap it over in this situation.
You would hope this is something that should change in...
I guess you might need to have the phone connected for it to work, so if it died it would just disconnect and you could still ride the bike.
Either that or they're coming back to steal your phone :D
The anti theft thing is interesting. Is there some sort of override if you manage to break your phone or if it dies/loses connection mid ride?
I think the Torque:ON might be a better comparison. Shame that doesn't come with the Bosch motor too...
I have a 2021 Level R in XL. It's a big heavy bike at 27.5kg with pedals/frame protection.
Loves to be thrown down rock gardens and rougher tracks and feels better to ride at speed. Slightly comprimised when you are on tighter/slower trails but I still enjoy riding it on most things.
Steep slick...
From what I understand you will need to get Specialized to programme the mastermind TCU to your bike. People have tried this and they had issues with their motors being bricked until they had refit the original TCU. You would have thought that it should be easy to do when the bikes are sold with...
I really like the geo numbers if they are right (S6 measurements do seem off though), it sounds like a really playful bike.
Does it come with headset cups to slacken it off to around 63deg?
Maybe speak to Mondraker and see if buying the level link(s) and a 225x75 shock will be a straight swap if you want more travel?
Eta: If you check the Mondraker parts site you will see that the Crafty, Level, Chaser and Dusk share the same lower link, it's just the upper link that's different...
They might be the same frame just with different links. The difference in weight could just be from the larger coil shock and heavy duty tyres.
The shock on the Level is 20mm longer eye to eye and I think you might have issues with the brace in the upper link clashing with the seattube at full...
Mondraker's support isn't the best either tbh. Mine came fitted with the wrong Q factor cranks from new, causing the crank arm to hit the chainstay. Took 9 months for the replacement rear triangle to arrive.
I bought a spare battery cover so I could easily swap batteries mid ride, that took...
Thanks, I'm going to try go through the warranty process with Bosch first but that's good to know.
It sounds like it's more than just a speed sensor issue.
