There's a plastic mount on the end of the battery that pushes against the frame like a leaf spring, it holds it in quite tight.
Wiggling the other end of the battery towards and away from the rear tyre while pulling usually helps get it out.

I've always liked Shimano's but they can be a bit on/off which some people don't gel with.
The moving biting point is caused by an air bubble in the caliper or lever and requires a good bleed.
I do the 5 min lever bleed every month and full bleed every few months and never seem to have issues...
Have they passed the diagnostic report back to Bosch? I've heard a few stories of Bosch helping people out after their warranty has expired, so hopefully they can resolve this for you.
I've had similar happen when I've had a crash and broken my Kiox off it's mount. I could push the connectors back together and turn the bike on but because it was losing connection when I started riding it would turn back off again 30 seconds later and I'd just have to repeat until I got back...
I can't see a hole in the same place on the drive side?
Since it lines up with the rotor magnet, was there a different speed sensor mount option on that frame? Assume yours sits on the inside of the chainstay?
I miss Gary, he did piss people off with his bluntness but he had alot of knowledge which is sometimes lacking with responses to peoples questions on here.
Only eco will let you get 3000m+ climbing. Even the old tour won't come anywhere close.
You said yourself you get 1600m from 50%, so just stick with eco and blame Bosch some more :ROFLMAO:
Thanks, that thread you linked earlier mentioned it still just says Tour on screen.
I mentioned a while back to check the big coloured circle that goes around the bike's speed on the display. With my Tour the coloured part (motor power) will stop about 1/3rd (8 o'clock) of the way and the...
I don't think he has Tour+, if he's got a Kiox it would say on the display wouldn't it? (Happy to be corrected)
He just can't feel any difference between modes, which is weird because they feel massively different to everyone else.
It doesn't matter if you are talking about power or torque, they are both related.
Max Turbo assistance at 80rpm - 710w
Max Tour assistance at 80rpm - 420w
Big claim coming from you tbh....
You stated (quite a few times) that Tour gives you the same assistance as Turbo. It doesn't (by a long way).
You can't change the assistance on this version of Kiox, it's something Bosch have added more recently.
It feels fine for me and many others. There's a nice step change between each...
Why are you not listening to anything people have said?! The 250w is a regulation that ebikes have to provide over an amount of time, in all the time I've had my bike it's never limited me to this power.
Tour and Turbo are massively different in assistance. If your bike is giving you full power...
Yes you can fit any 12 speed chain. In my experience a better quality chain does last much longer than a cheaper one (SRAM X01 vs SRAM GX) and it's actually working out cheaper to run the better quality chain over time.
If tour is giving you full power you have a problem and need to go back to a Bosch dealer.
Does the coloured circle on the kiox show the same amount of power in both modes?
I feel a big change between modes on mine. EMTB has a smoother power curve depending how much power you put down.
Tour and Turbo feel like they both give you a set assistance but Turbo feels twice as powerful as Tour.
If you have your kiox on the speed display page with the coloured circle...
