I have DT swiss M1700 29ers on my hardtail, purchased at a discount on Chain Reaction, with Thunder Burt 2.1 Super Ground. They are one of the fastest rolling tyres but don't get the Addix speed as they are too light and will puncture...
Apart from the hub being silent on freewheel the wheel +...
I have not, I have only used Volspeed V3, but the only time I got a 504 error was from moisture on the pin connectors. The Volspeed connectors are not rated and need to be taped with electrical tape to stop any type of ingress, mine had quite bad corrosion on the pins...
Yes, that is the advantage of buying Ex-Hire as you also get a shop warranty.
Also, all legit sellers will have the invoice and it is not hard to judge character these days.
I personally ride a hardtail and have no regrets about my use type, which includes epic mountain rides in Wales, Scotland...
You should look at ex-rentals in your area. I have purchased an ex-rental and you get 6-12months warranty at the shop.
The bike I purchased had upgraded wheels and tyres so that was also a bonus!

I would have no hesitation buying a Bosch...
These are only a safety feature and are not required. How are you going to rip burn-outs if you can't hold the front brake on whilst pulling full throttle!?
I commute a lot of road miles derestricted as well as mountain trails and the road miles definitely reek more havoc on the drivetrain. Particularly when starting off in the wrong gear or standing up to power past traffic or up a hill in the 11t when you should be shifting instead.
I feel your pain! But it is how you ride it.
Even in the lower assist settings, you need to be in the right gear for starts and hills, don't just just stand up and peddle hard in the 11 or 10t.
Linkglide is crazy cheap at the moment as is as durable as it gets, well worth the upgrade.
Your mad, don't change! Have you tested full compression with the rear shock also!? looks like you might have clearance issues when the back has bottomed out also...
I guess you have seen this build? Intense Superbike Definitely one of the best DIY integrations I have seen.
I think you need to...
Maybe this is useful? Shimano Ep8 ebike users with 6 bolt rotors
I used an adapter to go from centrelock hub to 6-bolt discs but it wasn't ideal and always had a bit of play, I ended up buying centrelock discs... I guess there must be an adapter that goes the other way.
I run Thunder Burt 2.25 Super Ground as my commuters, I believe they are the fastest 2'+ tyre available. Don't get the Speed Addix as they are too light and puncture easily.
This comes up from time to time, but an inverter is still the easiest way that I can find.
Firstly, you need 36v as that is what your EP8 battery is rated at.
Bosch did have a 12v travel charger at one point but it only charged a battery that wasn't below a certain percentage, 30%? They come up...
Aluminium is one of the most environmentally sustainable metals. It also has the added bonus of increasing the risk of Alzheimers, so even if it is not the most environmentally sustainable material you wouldn’t remember anyway…
My dirt jump and MX mates prefer Ally over carbon.
I posted last week about the discount on Linkglide at the moment, €110 before VAT for a COMPLETE SET, although the prefered 10speed cassette may need to be sourced elsewhere.
I order a set a few months back at a higher price! £170 delivered.
