I had a freehub fail on my Cube Hybrid Reaction Pro 625 2021 model
It had a shimano FH-TX505 rear hub
I put a warranty claim in but unfortunately due to stock it never came through. I ended up buying a whole new rear hub from China
Amazingly I've had an email to say my warranty part is on the...
Took my old hardtail in for a broken purion - power button wouldn’t work
3 days later brand new unit arrived and fitted. Old unit off for diagnostic.
Bosch seem very good at warranty stuff.
Black Nylon SPACERS Plastic Standoff Washers (OD = 2 x ID) M3 M4 M5 M6 M8 M10 | eBay
It does look like a standard M6 spacer - 6mm ID 12mm OD -- if you grab some nylon spacers in 5mm I reckon they'd work a treat :)
Hahaha no it was definitely in turbo!!
I really had no idea how long it was or what it was like - turbo got abused a bit on the last 4 miles cos my legs gave in haha
I love my Tour+!
Had it on my hardtail, first thing I got done on my FS
I just like being lazy and leaving it in one dynamic mode all day
Dalby made me use emtb quite a bit though lol
Nice!
I took the high line on the corners before. Took the high line on that one, stopped and thought yeah no way I'm getting down that.
Got off and walked it down the line you showed.
I'll try to put my brave pants on next time :D
The photo I took had this fitted -> Bolt, thin washer, chain guide, thick washer, plastic spacer
However it was rubbing on the chain and always has been since I got the bike
I sanded down the plastic washer and refitted like this -> Bolt, thin washer, thick washer, chain guide, plastic spacer...

There is a good pic on that too
Though those seem to have some little lock washers and mine are flat.
Right buddy. I was doing a service of my pedals at lunch so pulled it off for some pics
Please excuse upside down and stuff I’m still on my phone
It’s a plastic spacer. 6mm ID for the bolt. 12mm OD about 4mm thick. They may have been 6 or 5mm thick but I filed mine down to get it perfectly...
That’s awesome I look forward to it!
There was only two bits I got stuck on last time. Worst was that downhill switch back with the rock drop on the corner.
Would love some advice!
Yeah there’s some thicker spacers that are a bit of a pain to get on as they go between the guide and the motor
Sounds like you might have lost those when you removed it?
In all honesty after doing 5 bikes for people now if you’re unsure I’d just pay a LBS
It’s about £30 at mine to setup tubeless and it’s not really worth the day of faffing about trying to get the tyres to seat on for the first time to save the cost of a dominos?
I fell for tubeless ready on that exact bike
What I found was the front wheel has gorilla tape installed from the factory (which makes it even weirder that everyone hates it) and the rear doesn’t lol
Yeah sorry my bad
It’s just those 3 hour rides where it starts off ok and rains halfway round lol
It will also be nice not to have legs covered in nettle stings ?
I’ve only done it once on my own but I’d love to do it with others and learn a bit.
If the weathers decent that weekend and I don’t hold you all up I’d definitely be up for it!
Im a late bloomer. Never did much on bikes when I was younger. I played ice hockey
really enjoying learning it now though
Im off to find a car park and practice a bit this week. I struggle to even get the front wheel up high enough. I assumed it was the bike weight and my weight but I might not...
Forgive me for asking but if you just use 8&9 now - what's wrong with the other 3?
If you go from the 38T chainring up front up to a 42T 8&9 would become 7&8 so I suspect then you'd just use 7&8
Also the cube hybrid reaction comes with a 38T which is pretty big anyway! much bigger and it might...
