    Suspension set-up guides and info

Great reading this - I'm gonna go through it all in detail after work I've been struggling a bit with getting my Fox 34 and Fox DPS setup because... well I aint light. Sitting at about 220lbs so the front fork is nearly maxed out on PSI I found the rear only had a 0.4 spacer in so I swapped to...

Trail Centre: Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire, UK

Yeah I kept quiet at the old girl with the yappy hamster/dog But the woman and 2 kids were on a blind descent, I nearly wiped them completely out. It's bonkers - the entire trail is marked as a mountain bike trail yet people still think they can walk down it with noise cancelling airpods in and...

I realise I've missed this but I'd 100% be up for the next one I've been wanting to do Pines for a while but the red route just looks too boring. Would love to see some of the off-piste stuff you've found!

I did my first ever Dalby red route last weekend. Quite fun but I definitely need a bit more experience on the big drops £9 for the car park, £8.50 for a sandwich and flapjack... urgh Also I don't know if I misunderstood the red route but at one point there was an old woman walking a dog in the...

soapy water then take your floor pump, disconnect the hose, put the hose bit on your valve and connect the other end to your car tyre pop pop pop - done no idea why people piss about with expensive water bottles ;)

As for SX bending - mine bent, my mates bent on his decathlon when a chain snapped. They are pretty much made like cheese

Decathlon STILUS Full Suspension Electric Mountain Bike - SRAM SX

I did this recently on my new bike Came with SLX casette, SLX shifter, and XT mech. I put my spare Sram GX mech on it and it worked flawlessly with the shimano shifter and casette The 12 speed stuff seems to be very mix and match - obviously just need to watch for freehub type when you're...

Sold 2019 Focus Jam2 9.6 NINE (CF) Large: £2950 GBP (new price - again!)

I bought mine from facebook marketplace I hate facebook - deleted my account 6 years ago. But had to create an account to message this guy then delete it after I'd bought the bike lol Ebay's fees are so stupid these days gumtree and facebook tend to be better, but you do get more time wasters

Sold 2019 Focus Jam2 9.6 NINE (CF) Large: £2950 GBP (new price - again!)

I was very tempted by this, it looks super clean, but I found a cube hybrid stereo 140 near me for £3k and I felt like the bit extra was worth it for the bosch gen 4 over an older shimano. I've got to sell my old bike now but it is starting to get to that time of year where they struggle to...

5-10 trailcross gortex gtx available for £105 from Adidas

Ordered a set of these this week. Been wearing some skate trainers but got soaked the other day and pretty much fell apart, so finally bit the bullet lol Got an email saying they're delayed, I suspect a lot have ordered with this voucher code so if you're still on the fence I'd do it fast

Shimano XT derailleur cable routing - is this normal?

    Smart Battery Charger

Why is that a show stopper? It's a well used connector rated up to 5A per connector so is more than capable of taking a 4A charge. It also allows the manufacturer to use 9 pins for different comms and then offer the adaptor cables I mean maybe it would be nice to use some weatherproof sealed...

Shimano XT derailleur cable routing - is this normal?

That's kind of my thoughts on it too - they've been making drivetrains forever and I get that the cable angle would be too wide, but this is pretty bad design. I do prefer the shifter over the Sram one but urgh..

Shimano XT derailleur cable routing - is this normal?

My first cube emtb came with Sram SX, which was pretty awful. I upgraded to Sram GX which was absolutely lovely. But on a whim this week I bought a full suspension emtb and will be putting my hardtail up for sale. The new bike has Shimano XT gear setup, and whilst it works pretty nicely out on...

Has your EMTB made you fitter, or kept you as fit, as your regular MTB?

Lower blood pressure, lost weight, gained a load of leg strength. I rode a non electric MTB last year but some of the climbs resulted in me walking with the bike, which wasn't fun, and put me off. Mentally it's much easier to get out 3-4 times a week knowing that if you get somewhere a bit too...

    .

I'm no expert but to me it looks like the paint has cracked around where a metal insert will have been bonded into the carbon for the suspension pickup point It doesn't look pretty but I'm not sure I'd be too concerned.
