    Waterproof/Baselayers for fat lads

Thanks mate - I was trying to avoid overtrousers, wanted a bit of a breathable all-in-one solution but if the MT500 XXXL's don't fit I'll go for that.

    Waterproof/Baselayers for fat lads

Ooooooh every site I looked at only listed the MT500's up to XXL - but I just had a look on tredz and you can order XXXL 5 days from the supplier. I'll give them a go! thanks

    Tubeless conversion kit

I went with the mucoff kit The cube reaction comes with Alex 30mm rims - so they're 30mm inside diameter (or at least mine did you might want to check but I assume they're still 29 x 2.6 tyres) Muc-Off Ultimate Tubeless Setup Kit For Tubeless Ready Bikes, DH Wide - Includes Rim Tape, Seal...

    Waterproof/Baselayers for fat lads

I'm supposed to be biking snowdon in 2 weeks and with the weather starting to turn I wanted to get some waterproof trousers and a long sleeve baselayer for under my fox top Unfortunately I'm 6ft - 230lbs and usually around a 42-43" waist Apparently that means all MTB specific clothing is out of...

Which components do you upgrade right away?

This!! There's a lot of similarities between bikes and my days doing track days in cars People buy a car and upgrade absolutely everything before really learning how to drive Seat, Grips, Pedals are usually cheap horrible shit and worth upgrading for contact points Depending on the price level...

Should I have started this caper with an analogue bike?

I've been trying to learn to manual my emtb but not had much success Was literally sat on the boot of my car with a mate after riding yesterday saying I'm not sure how easy it is due to the weight of the battery in the frame etc... Then a guy pulls up in a VW van - unloads 3 bikes, gets on his...

    Mudguards.!!

RRP bolt-on on my Fox 34 at the front (the short one) RRP rear I really like how clean they look and they do a good job but at least with 29x2.6 Eddy Current tyres there isn't a lot of clearance Every time my tyre picks a stone up you get a nice tick-tick-tick-tick as it catches the guard on...

    Suspension set-up guides and info

Cheers mate nice to get a bit of a baseline of what others run. I haven't had an OTB yet but the big drops at Dalby were close when the front fork bottomed out. It is hard to get plush feeling suspension on the gravel trails and not bottom out on the downhill stuff. Might have to abuse keto and...

Answered Can't get my tyre back on

Reminds me of the guy who had an issue with the bottom spring plate on his car shock absorber coming loose so welded it up, with the shock full of oil. Like WWII shrapnel
