Apple Air Tag . . . How do I locate a swiped bike?

Also I mostly just use mine on the bike to check it's still in the van as I'm quite paranoid when I go to the office and leave the bike in the van for the day in the car park ready for a night ride - or if I go for some food after a long ride. At least I can open the app and see it's still with...

Apple Air Tag . . . How do I locate a swiped bike?

There's, as usual, a hint of apple bashing on most of these threads but in reality - - once the airtag has left your location it takes 3 days to start making a noise - the anti-stalking stuff isn't instant either, it's only if the airtag is travelling with you for a prolonged amount of time -...

I upgraded to sintered pads. Are my rotors going to explode?

Yes but, and this seems to be happening in every thread, it’s not a motorbike All motorbike and car rotors are heat treated so if you hit the warping temp they’ll warp. You can hit that with organic or race pads if you’re on it hard enough. Obviously there are better rotors with higher carbon...

ABS on a bike. Would you?

It's a constant source of amusement how many people compare emtb's to motorcross. Yet I'm still to find the emtb guy doing 60mph on a mud track with 100mm tyres, and I haven't met the motorcross guy doing 4mph down a wet rock slab :D

ABS on a bike. Would you?

Yes the exact same thing was said when ABS started being introduced onto cars... don't need it, if you know how to pulse the brakes you're fine.......... lol

I upgraded to sintered pads. Are my rotors going to explode?

Yeah it's not really true that all rotors can use resin or sintered pads. Some of the base line shimano/sram rotors are really thin and quite soft. They have "resin only" clearly stamped on them. If you use sintered pads with those at best you'll be replacing them pretty damn often and at worse...

    Best e-mtb for a full-figured man?

I think most bikes can take it... tbh. There's a lot of safety in the weight limits for warranty claims I'm about `00kg, but with the bike weight included and my bag I'm probably right on the limit of my carbon Cube. It's seen some big drops and a lot of jumps and never had an issue. A friend...

ABS on a bike. Would you?

Yes I would 100% and will when they come out on the cubes next year (hopefully) I can see a lot of occasions where I'm doing downhill techy stuff on rock slabs where they would absolutely offer better control of the bike I think the people saying they don't see the benefit as motorcross don't...

To clip or not to clip

I use clips on my gravel bike - flats on the MTB I was tempted when I had my hard tail emtb to use those crank bros pedals where you can use either, there are some big climbs on a route around the yorkshire dales where I wish I had clips for a bit more leg power... but then I sold that bike and...

New Cube stereo hybrid 140 has rotor/brake noise at 13-14 mph

If something is rubbing it should be fairly easy to spot. Just check clearances between rotor and pad I think these bikes have the magnet in the rear rotor for the motor speed sensor, so worth checking that's not too close to something. Doesn't make a lot of sense only happening at that speed though

Unanswered Cush Core Pro worth the money
