Hello, just wanted to know if anyone is having similar issue? I recently purchased a brand new 2022 Cube stereo hybrid 140 race. The noise occurs every single time I reach 13-14 mph and without applying brakes. This issue was happening on all the brand new Cube 140s that were being sold by this particular shop. So it appears it was not a one-off or anomaly. Seems like Factory defect. The noise basically sounds like A light friction metallic noise or similar to if you were to apply a metal brake pad very lightly to the front rotor you would hear that light metallic scraping noise. Would love to know if anyone else has experience this or what it might be? Cube is not aware of it and the shop is not sure what it is either. I have an appointment tomorrow to change out front rotors to see if that helps. Thanks for your time

If something is rubbing it should be fairly easy to spot.
Just check clearances between rotor and pad
I think these bikes have the magnet in the rear rotor for the motor speed sensor, so worth checking that's not too close to something.
Doesn't make a lot of sense only happening at that speed though

most likely a slightly misaligned calliper or mount actually rubbing slightly all the time. The reason you hear it at a reasonable speed is because it then reaches a frequency or volume that you actually notice.

Thank you so much for all your input. I took it to the shop today and they replaced the front rotor with Shimano XT rotor and that fixed the problem. Completely went away. The shop is now going to install new rotors on all of the cube 140s right out of the box due to this issue. Can't say enough good things about San diego fly rides in Poway, California. Thank you again for all your help.
