58, used to be a "roady" with a few triathlons and 1/2 Ironman, got into mountain biking about 4 years ago, got my Focus Jam2 almost a year ago, done nearly 4000kms on it and have farmed out my road bikes and the Hard Tail mountain bikes are gathering dust in the shed

jeez, numbers on paper are not the answer. we all ride differently. narrow it down to a few that are close to the geo that you are looking for and ride the buggers before you make a choice based on someone else's opinion and them blame them later if you are not happy!!!

I use my Tec pack on most rides and commonly drain both batteries. my last two rides showed 1km and 2km range remaining, respectively. Guess we all have different requirements. I'd love a 500wh Tec pack to give me a total of 878wh for extending my current rides.
