I've just had a new E8000 fitted to my focus jam2 under warranty. Not concerned about next time as I see focus have just released a new jam2 with EP8 motor. Its the exact same bike as mine including the same main battery and tec pac. Only difference is motor, wiring and display/controller. My...

Heard back from the LBS yesterday. New motor on the way. 5300 hilly kilometres with a 115-120kg rider on top and bearings on the way out. only had a couple of months warranty left so very happy with this result.
mine is 9 weeks away from running out of warranty and just started making a grinding noise last weekend. It only does it after a couple of km's of first flat riding on my way to a local hill climb that I do regularly. I then get about 2 km up the hil (its 5 km to the top) its pretty steep and I...
Back to your first question: I just replaced my 140mm Recon's for 150mm Pike. Don't notice the geometry difference at all. Ride quality however is night and day difference. The Pike is a "Magic Carpet Ride" compared to the Recon. My 115kg frame probably didnt help with the 32mm stanchions on the...
Focus are going to run with both bikes: Shimano Motor - shorter more playfull Tec Pack compatible.
Bosch Motor - slightly heavier and longer not Tec pack compatible.

I agree with pretty much everyone above. Keep the Orbea. on a side note: I came off on 08 October and broke my shoulder and also shattered the top of my arm. Had the shoulder re-built on the 15th of October. I expect to be riding again (nothing technical) by end of January. I'm 58 years old and...

Hi Pete, again, I mean no offense, but it is becoming more common for these bikes to be stolen and in most cases the stolen bikes are of course missing a charger. I'm definitely not accusing you but feel that for our own safety as a community, transparency is a good thing and may avoid some...
I personally would concentrate on how much extra enjoyment you could get out of that extra 90 quid. The amount of angst you have already caused yourself by worrying about it is more than 90 quids worth.
Thats a hell of a generalisation. you may want to discuss it with people like "the rock". He probably thinks you are puny and unhealthy or..... he may just be more broad minded(polite) than that.
