I am sending the 38 Performance from my Decoy in for warranty due to a creaking CSU. It just so happens I have recently bought a Factory 38. I went to swap the two forks, but I cannot get the Factory fork to sit properly. When I tighten up the head cap, the fork becomes extremely stiff in the...
Here's a link to a Q&A where they explain the rationale a bit more clearly. Whether you agree or not is another matter. Given that a lot of people I know who run Fox have their compression damping wide open, I can see how many would benefit from a lighter compression tune. I've just bought a...
Maxx Terra is compound not casing.
I would suggest a DD, Max Terra for a rear tyre. Slightly faster and better wearing than a Max Grip, with the added protection of DD. I wouldn't run a standard exo casing on either end, particularly if your trails are rocky.
I have a granite puncture tool in my cranks. Co2 and tube strapped to frame. EDC lite multi tool in headset. Covers me for most rides. If I'm doing something bigger I'll need to carry food anyway, so I'll wear a hip pack.

Not really sure why there are so many special gadgets in use. I use a super cheapo, Lidl special bike. It holds my Decoy just fine. It does have 4 legs though. I clamp all my bikes by seatpost, never had any issue. However, for general maintenance, I mostly use a wheel stand. For chains /...
Forgive me if I am being a moron. But in my head, you would just disconnect hoses from levers and swap over. They may need bled after though. My Decoy came set up front brake left (mad considering it came from YT Mill in UK), but with codes you can just flip them. I eventually rerouted the hoses...
