Ah sweet. Haven't kept up with what's new on the market in NZ.

32km/h in NZ but I think most bikes with Shimano or Bosch motors are limited to 25km/h for some reason. Giant are running at 32km/h though.

That's been my experience too. I only notice the 32km/h limit on paved, flat roads.

Does anyone know what was in the latest update. My last update was back in Jan/Feb when we got the new walk mode. Today I connected up and it fired a new update to my Fathom. I really wish Giant would publish a changelog in the app..... or anywhere, for that matter.

Or maybe, just maybe, they bought what they could afford and make do.

My 2019 Fathom E+ 3 came with a chain guide. I wonder why some variants didn't come with them. I can say that would certainly help. I haven't dropped a chain yet.

I'm roughly your size and weight. I ride a Giant so I have the Yamaha motor. It has no trouble hauling my bulk up some pretty steep climbs. In fact, I almost exclusively use the middle power setting.

I'm about 10 mins ride away from this trail. The e-bike makes is great because once you get to the bottom, you just whiz up the 4WD road and do it again.... and again... and again. I can get about four or five laps done and be home in about an hour. (This isn't my video but it shows the trail)

Which is probably common on hire bikes...

Yup, just updated my iOS version and the elusive “Update e-bike” menu option has now also appeared.

You could probably get a new one 3D printed as a mirror of the bottom button.
