    Put a 20mm block under the wheel and see how much different it makes to standover. Yeah, it's not exactly the same, but it should give a reasonable approximation. You could probably also run the Sektor with a bit more sag to get the front end closer to the Suntour.

    New 203mm rotor and adapter to got to 203F/180R. I may ultimately just go to 203 front and rear. Also some BS01 resin brake pads because the cheap semi-metallics I got off TradeMe are pants.

    Maybe a couple of slices of pool noodle (like donuts). Easy to carry, light and should slip on the grips easily.

    True.... I didn't see the portable bit :) Other times, I've just loosened the clamp on my RideControl One and rotated it out of harms way.

    My Giant came with a pretty low-end Suntour XCM34 fork. Looks the part but the spring is too light and it make a lovely THUNK at each end of the stroke.     Frustration with Frame Size

    I'm the same height as you and I am dead on the cusp of L/XL in Giant frames. I went for the XL because it's reach was the same as my 21" Specialized. The Giant fits me really well although I did slap on a shorter stem/wider bars.
