As the dark nights are upon us and thoughts turn to riding in the dark, I was wondering do Giant sell a front light that is compatible with their eMTB wiring ? I've seen a post or two on here about how to connect up 3rd party lights but wanted to know if Giant have their own ?

Yeah, I was kind of hoping there was some funky looking thing that would connect directly to the loom without any hacking and slashing. I guess not.

Actually a good point you’ve raised. With the amount of money we’ve paid for these things, you’d think they could’ve included a USB port for a front light AND a tail light.

The included connector for the light is a very nice add on, the only problem is when you need to extract it for the first time to connect your favourite 6v light. It can be a frustrating process
