Walk mode has disappeared

My Fathom E+ has been in for a regular service and diagnostic. When I got home, I was having a quick ride and I found when I press-and-hold the walk button, all power level lights turn on in a sequence 1->2->3->4->5->4->3->2->1 twice and then stops. And no walk mode.

There's no mention in the manual about that light sequence.

Any ideas before I pack the bike back into the car and take it back?

Ah!
Got walk to walk!
It is not a ‘throttle’. The bike requires some push. Only have to hold UP button, not both. And if the crank rotates it is working!
Feels like the bike weighs 20 lbs not 53.

I downloaded the new firmware and didnt realise it changed the way the walk mode operated. When checking my bike over after a clean, i decided to test the walk function only to see the leds on the assist side of the controller scroll up and down with no crank movement.
Was planning to take the bike back to my LBS the next day. Until i came across this post.
Tks to all that posted on this issue, this is a great site where everyone can help each other with issues we all face with our e bikes.
