I've recently moved to wearing goggles open face helmet and I find that they are better in hot conditions because air moves around better at speed. Of course when not moving they get warm. Also they don't move around or push anywhere and now I don't have to worry about branches hitting and...
This winter in Lapland first ever ebike ride in my life with rental full suspension fat-e-bike. I was sold then on the ebike idea. This gave me the push to buy an ebike.
I don't think there is any difference considering pedal choice on ebike compared to normal bike. Rode normal mtb with mallet-e pedals, so I ride my emtb with same pedals. I don't see any benefits going back to flats (for myself) unless I want to perform off-pedal tricks, which I won't and can't do.

Wen't from 165 to 150, didn't notice any power loss, wen't on the same climbs with no noticeable difference in effort. Pedals took less hits even in places I usual expect some minor strikes.
GoPro Hero8 here. The image stabilization is very important with mountain biking, can't really get good footage without it. I had Akaso camera before and the Gopro is miles better and imo worth the price if you really wan't to get into filming your rides.
I don't think GoPro hero 8 is that...
Stumbled into this thread when looking for shorter arms too. I think with ebike I don't need that much leverage from a long arm. Mine came with 165 arms and I ordered 150, hope it's not too short :)
It's a matter of clothing. Had my long sleeve mt500 jersey, singletrack rain/wind shell, mt500 protector undershorts, singletrack shorts, singletrack shinguard socks, knee and elbow guards. Was totally fine.
