Really happy with Conti's Der baron tyres. Last ride was pretty wet and muddy, also temperature was about 5-7C in technical rooty and rocky trails. Running 29x2.4 front and 27,5x2.6 rear with 1,4bar & 1,6bar respectively, tubeless. No unsuprising slips on wet roots. The rock is pretty grippy...

The EP8 rattling comes when you rotate the chainring slighly back and forth. This is why the rattle comes when freewheeling at speed because the rear suspension movement pulls and pushes the chain. It doesn't happens when pedalling.

The bike showed fault code E01020 from the e-tube app in the middle of the ride and wouldn't clear even if I removed the battery overnight. I don't know what failed on the motor, just received info that it needed to be replaced. The fault code refers to a sensor failure but doesn't say which...

What? You need to replace that motor by your self? Commencial should really consider their warranty service, since they sold the bike so they are responsible for the all the parts included in the bike. Shouldn't be the customers responsibility. Also without proper diagnostic tools, you can't...

Does not work unless other iphones are around its bluetooth range. So ungrouded areas have a low chance to acquire location.

I have tried turning the light on and off, does not work. I measured with multimeter that the light connection has voltage when light is on. So the usb unit is dead.

My CF7 gave up after about 55km of riding, with fault code E01020. I had to take the bike to a local Canyon mechanic. They said that they had to send diagnostic data to shimano in order to find out what needs to be done. I hope that whatever is needed isn't on 6 month backorder, fingers crossed...

Magura makes disk brakes with magnet, they are 6-bolt but one could use and adapter? Also and option would be to glue a magnet onto the rotor or use separate disk magnets for 6-bolt, people have had success with this method.
