I've encountered walkers around blind corners on downhill-only trails and yesterday, two young guys riding UP the downhill. Hearing a bell in the distance is going to save us a trip to the hospital.
I'd be inclined to get a Timber Bell. The ringing is heard earlier by other trail users so you're not creeping up behind and then ringing it. And you can disable it when needed.

"The Bluegrass Prizma 3D were designed specifically to add extra impact protection against the obstacles that are in your way. The 3D TPR prisms defend the knuckles and the top of the hand."
My Fathom has been creaking really badly lately. I've dropped the motor, greased all the surfaces and done the bolts up tight. Yet it still creaks.
I wondered if I had actually over-tightened the bolts so I bought a set of long Torx keys thereby limiting my hand leverage. I loosened the bolts...
Don't be tempted by the multi-release cleats (or Click'R pedals). I found they release way too easily..... like when you really don't want them to release.
Personally, I've only ever ridden Shimano SPDs right back from the original M737 so I can't comment on other brands.
Pedals are a personal...
Marzocchi have been around for decades (motorbikes). They were a big player in mtb for years and then fell on hard times. FOX bought them up and re-launched the brand. The Z2 shares many parts with a FOX 34, I gather. I think even if you take the Rail damper out, it has FOX printed on it.
It’s super simple. Just remove the front bolts and loosen the rear one. The motor should then swing down out ofthe cavity.
Something like this
there may be other things you have to remove on a Stance. I have a Fathom.
On my Fathom I had to route the cable around the back of the motor, underneath and then up the downtube. The cable outer is too stiff to go round the front. I did have to pivot the motor out.
I think the motor on the Stance is rotated forward more so you might be able to get it round the front...
I have this fork on my Giant. The stock spring is too light for me. The only good points are the 34mm stanchions and boost dropouts.
I was considering getting a RockShox Judy Gold RL, but I'm thinking a RockShox 35 would be better.
