They took four months to get to me from Disco so probably.
Mine still fade on longish downhills but I'm probably on the upper end of the limits of most pads, to be fair (and I use single pot brakes)
I seem to recall I had issues with Strava, so I found Healthfit. But I might give it another go.
EDIT: ahh yes, I see Strava now auto-imports Workouts which is what I was using Healthfit for.
From what I've seen, a lot of importers of low-end Chinese e-bikes don't know dick about bikes in general. I called one out once for saying their bikes had Deore gears when the only Deore part was a rear cassette. They rely on selling to other people who don't know what they're buying but are...
I use an Apple Watch 3 and it's fine for my needs. Tracks my health stuff and also my ride (built in GPS means it also doesn't use the phone battery). I use an iPhone app called HealthFit to sync my workouts to Strava and it works seamlessly. I don't use it for wayfinding. I stash my phone in a...
I guess what I meant was I used to think I had to ride in 3 because 1 & 2 weren't grunty enough, But by tuning, I can now run in 2 and thereby maybe save some battery (probably negligible) and get more of a workout.
I'd always found the bottom two power settings on my Fathom a bit weak, so I would have to use "Normal" mode (175%). I went into tuning and saw #1 and #2 were on their minimums creating quite a power jump between #2 and #3. I ramped them all up to max, and now I can do my local loop comfortably...
Yeah it seems quite hit and miss this app. All versions have worked fine on my iPhone 8 talking to my 2019 Fathom E+3. I wonder if 2020+ bikes are more prone to not working.
Mine did a similar thing on one ride. I was starting the downhill and it sounded like there was something rattling around inside the case but only when pedaling. It went away evenutally and hasn't happened since.
