Think Part Timer is a couple slots ahead of you and unless I get a swap I’m scheduled for 12.03:30.
Looks like they’ve stuck all the old guys at the back :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Organisers must have heard about my skill level and put me off very near the end! Less places for me to lose I suppose.
Mate off an hour ahead of me, may try to get a closer start time. I’m a bit quicker than him but no way I’m making back an hour, plus a bit crap hanging about by myself for an...
Aye that’s me. You Dave DH?
So what do you reckon the trail mix will be? Ok, round most of Glentress but the spicier natural stuff at the limit of my comfort zone. Last time I rode Mast of Zorro I had to mince round the open exposed turns at the top.
Where can you charge it? Love my Whyte but not practical to remove battery to charge it. Doesn’t matter to me as I have power in garage.
Also do you do a lot of multi day trips away. Trek battery would be easier to keep charged if you do.
Never ridden the Trek but only heard good things, don’t...
Never used the seller but found these here. Look like the right ones to me.

ZS means Zero Stack, so the headset sits flush with the head tube, as opposed to the traditional way with the bearings sitting outside the frame.
Good explanation on Hope site showing the myriad of different versions.

Messaged Whyte as I couldn’t find the washer on the webstore and they sent me a couple for free. Great service considering I managed it.
Now just have to refit it without doing the same again.
I find that rear air shocks come with too many spacers for heavier riders. The increased air pressure we need for the correct sag causes excessive ramp up and stops full travel.
If it is the problem it’s an easy fix. Empty all the air out of the shock, open it up and see how many red spacers...
Managed (don’t know how) to mangle the stupid little washer between the shock and yoke. Was difficult enough refitting it after working on shock, now there’s no chance. Have measured it and can’t find equivalent size on eBay and Whyte want £16 for the bolt and washer pack. Have refitted...
My local service centre quoted £15 for a software update.
Personally, I’m another rider that doesn’t want to lose the standard Tour mode. I like the consistent output on tricky climbs. Emtb is good on steep stuff but I don’t like the way power dips and rises on tech features. Also feel the extra...
Hatchbag here for 5 years and it’s been flawless. Perfect fit and tough. Surface is marked from dragging DMR pedals across it but still waterproof. Full length cover with the 2/3rd splits so seat sections can be folded individually. Boot flap worth the extra for the inevitable time you catch the...
Or just wear trousers. ?????
I ride a lot of natural trails that get really overgrown at this time of year. Longs socks can help but are no match for the mega nettles round here. Shins still tingling after yesterday’s ride.
Also a bit of a tick epidemic in the hills at the moment and full...
