Yep. That's what happen to the seat I had, where the rail popped out. The rail was slightly out of alignment. But it was only a AUD$40 seat. So I replaced it.
When you can lower the dropper to get on. Why do you need step-thru ? If you struggle getting on or off with the dropper lowered. I'd suggest one of two things :
A) The bike is too big.
B) Should you really be buying an EMTB ? :ROFLMAO:
If the seat is totalled anyway. Try this. Heat with a heat gun along the line till the plastic is plyable. Bend the seat up and see if you can get the rod back in. Once in. Reheat and ensure you return the plastic to the original shape.
The seat bending up in that corner is the only way it came...
My Merida came with 780mm bars. But many of the single trails I ride have really tight trees in them, and I was forever clipping the trees, as I had to literally turn the handlebars to fit through. My concern was I was going to clip them properly, the impact turning the handlebars, and spear off...
Square peg, round hole. I stand by my first diagnosis. It's not going to keep contaminants out. It will wear the seal out much quicker.
Take it to a Fork specialist for an appraisal and ensure the integrity of stanchion.
But I'd have no issue just using it as is, till the next fork service is...
It will wear the seal in that spot, and allow more contaminants into the fork earlier. So it will need servicing more often.
Talk to a suspension specialist, possibly through your LBS.
Very dry and dusty out there, but some beautiful pastures as well.
Some of my mates riding MTBs. But boy did they regret it on the hills ....... :ROFLMAO:
Came across Ole Mate Dragon in Central NSW ..... I gave him a drink ........ I wanted to move him out of the middle of the road, so he didn't become roadkill, but he was having nothing to do with it ......
I think the new firmware release was to make the EP801 comparable to the Bosch CX. I think the 12 speed Auto Shift may be a future release.
Thing is. SRAM have it. So Shimano will need to get it done.
I'm not familiar with the lights on the Giant charger. But if the charger lights display correctly when ride control is unplugged. Then it's quite possible the ride control switches are the problem. But it could also be the cables. Part swapping is the only way to work that out.
But it's...
Yes I understand the gear changes work well. But is the chain now falling off on the inside of the chain ring when you go over bumpy terrain in first gear, because the chain alignment has been altered.
I am speaking from experience when I changed the chain alignment. I needed to install a...
You need to determine if something is shorting out, or just missing a connection.
Unplug all devices on the handlebar and plug in the charger. If the charger now sees the battery. There is a short circuit in the connections to one of your handlebar devices. If the charger still sees no...
Oh BTW. I could be mistaken, but the wear here in the photo, looks like wear from the chain dropping off on the inside of the chainring. This is normally a sign that your front chain line is too far out. But I'm only guessing.
That has a 53mm chain line, where I'd say your 10 speed original has a 50mm, looking at the most common spiders for a 10 speed. If you post the part number we can check it.
This means your chain line at the front is 3mm further out, which should be fine. But it does mean you'll have more cross...
I saw an interview with the head of Crestline. There is very little money in selling frames. Moulds are super expensive to produce, and can only make X amount of frames.
So you might as well use every frame to produce a whole bike, and increase your margins. And sell the occasional frame to...
One thing I've discovered, is you need to learn how to use Boost Mode when Technical Climbing. Lots of power and over run can make climbing feel awkward, initially. But once you master it. Your climbing improves vastly.
It will be the same with the DJI Motor. You'll need time to work out how to...
Always check the Shimano Compatibility Chart. Bigger and Smaller tooth chain wheels can have different chain lines. So whilst it does appear there is some variety allowed. Depending which one you get, it can impact your chain line, and thus have cross chaining issues.
I am a shift...
