I buy those same mucky nutz guards on Temu for $3.50 Vs $12 on that site. They work well just to prevent stones being thrown up in your face, and reduce mud on the rear triangle pivot.
I use another $3 Temu guard on the seat to reduce mud on your butt.
This is my take.
Jonesy likes it because he's into big technical climbs and adventure riding.
Sam, not so much because he's into downhill park rides.
So that tells you who the bike is for.
I think the screen and phone interface, bike security measures, and super fast charging, are things I...
Coming to Australia in October. AUD$9400 for the PL Carbon. Though I'd upgrade the transmission to SRAM AXS Wireless GX.
Need to start sweet talking the missus ......... :sneaky:
Oh BTW. I'd want it in a mullet. So hopefully that's an option when buying.
He's replied. There is no 4.3.2 Firmware. Only 4.3.0.
So it's pure fiction, as the current 12 speed chain couldn't possibly support repeated full load shifting. It's just too thin to fit the 12 speed cassette.
SM-PCE1 does not work with Windows-based E-Tube-Project-Professional software in the current version 5.xx. Only the SM-PCE02. But it does work with the Windows-based miniMax program from EMax.
That is from Peter Mayer of EMax...
I'll ask Peter from EMax. His software allows you to configure Di2 installations, and is very familiar with Shimano EP801 firmware.
Hopefully he'll answer.
Edit : Ok done. Sorry it's in German. We'll see if he replies.
I work in heat calculations. When I design installations, I calculate the heat load being created, and the ability of the installation to dissipate the heat.
Just because a battery can output a power level. It doesn't mean the battery installation was designed for that power level.
I'm sure it...
Shadow Effect Decals arrived this week. You buy both white and blue decals, then layer them to create a shadow effect. It really makes the writing "Pop".
Just keep in mind the battery isn't designed for full power. It will probably be fine, but nothing kills batteries quicker than overheating from excess power draw. That's why it will void your warranty.
I have the Elite 10. Brilliant buds.
The pass through mode is fantastic for when you need to hear surrounding noise and conversation. The the Noise Reduction Mode when you don't. And you can program the buttons to change modes in an instant.
Wireless charging is great when you are in the car...
Correct. Display has 3 X SD300 ports. One should be spare. It will have a blank plug in it to prevent water entry. Just remove plug and plug in new cable.
Yes. Plug the derailleur into one of the 3 SD300 ports. Just don't plug it into the speed sensor port. It's clearly marked with a notch.
The derailleur is powered by the main 36V battery from the SD300 port. No need for an extra battery like the SRAM AXS system.
Yes. That is a software bug. E203 is an error saying that you have electronic devices pluged in that are not configured. As long as you are not getting that error on the bike screen. It should be fine. But perhaps check with where you bought the bike.
You cannot rollback firmware versions. I...
Do not chip or try anything with the speed sensor. You will lock the motor and need Shimano to unlock it, with your motor marked permanently as being tampered with, thus no warranty.
I have the same bike and motor. I have derestricted it using the EMax Software. Contact Peter or Max at EMax...
B screw set too high. Too much gap between cassette and derailleur cog. But you'll always get a little bit of unsettled chain where the chain first contacts the cassette in first gear.
Adjust b screw but don't panic. It's not a problem. I have the same cassette and chain.
Headed to an area called Savilles Creek. Found a water hole with rope swing. Wasn't tempted to try it.
Had a nice waterfall as well.
Then I ended up on this black downhill, where I found myself biting off more than I could chew. Yes ..... I had to come down those boulders. No I didn't...
I run Shimano 12S Deore Cassette, with deore Chain and Di2 XT derailleur. My LBS carries the chain for AUD$30, which is about USD$20. And the cassette for AUD$110. I also keep a spare Hanger that I got on Aliexpress for AUD$12. (I fitted it to test it, and keep the original as a spare)
I also...
