Run it out the side vent. I've had mine like that for quite a while now with no issues, the plugs sit inside the venting and just run out through the existing hole. From recollection I had to feed the cable from the control unit into the venting then fit the two together inside the headtube and...
For planning rides then Komoot which I then run on my Garmin 1030. Found it to be the easiest planning tool (though not always perfect) but if you can grab a gpx file from someone else's route off strava/wikiloks etc then it's easy to upload that into Komoot and edit as required. Have found that...
Well proof that you shouldn't have a drink and browse the internet...Voima ordered:D It was the free shipping that got me! I think I'd have ordered one soon anyway but I had intended on waiting for Rob's review.....
Hope Tech 4 V4s as another option? Easy maintenance and bleeding. Really good modulation on the brakes. Replacement pads reasonably priced. Swapped out my Code R's for them and not looked back. Having said that I also really like the Shimano XTs I have on another bike. Both good powerful brakes...
Bought these lights last year after much shopping around for a decent set of lights for trail riding. Didn't really see much about them at the time from any UK outlets which all seemed to focus on magicshine and similar but stumbled across a review on a US forum and decided to try them out...
Thanks for that, same shock they're running in the 750wh bikes. I'm heavier but looks like there's plenty of extra PSI available there if I need it, need to get myself along to a dealer and check one out.
Anyone own or have experience on the Moustache Samedi bikes. Looking at the new 750wh Samedi 29 Game version as one of the options for replacement of my Merida but curious on the rear shock which looks to be proprietry to Moustache and I can't find much detail on. As a taller/heavier rider would...
6'6" 255lbs and riding the Merida e160 8000 in XL. Run a slightly longer 45mm stem and 50mm riser bar just to add a bit more space for my height but other than that it's good size wise. Stock suspension has been fine and takes the PSI I needed on the rear shock. Shimano ep8 also fine. It's more...
Looking forward to Rob's review when it comes out as will be in the market for a new bike early next year and settled on that being one with a Bosch motor/750wh battery.
@Rob Rides EMTB Be interested in views on sizing - at 6'6" I'd normally be straight to XL on majority of bikes but when I...
So for my Alps trip next year I'm considering doing the Tour of Mont Blanc instead of just hitting up the PDS bike parks. I've found a few resources and gpx files for the route as a 5 day tour but they're all for riding it on an MTB rather than eMTB. I can probably re-work the routes/stops to...
Changed my wheelset over to Hope Fortus 30 a month or so ago. Switched to Shimano icetech 6 bolt rotors and SRAM AXS at same time and just put a shimano e8000 disc rotor magnet on it (think I got it off Commencal site as was quite difficult to find). Fits fine with no adjustment and no issues...

Score (out of 10): 9
Review: Have run inserts for the last few years (rimpact pro) and it's always been a bit of a battle to get the tyre back on with the insert. Have tried all the methods from sitting wheel on a round...
Yeah it's def a 34T that I need. You're right on the chainline. Looks like there is a 53 and a 56.5mm option. I'll go check with Merida see what's right.
Was swapping my bike over to AXS & 12spd Eagle groupset on the rear and noticed that 3 of the chain ring bolts on the front shimano chain ring were loose. 2 have re-tightened but one is just spinning. I'll have a better look at it tomorrow but suspect the thread may be stripped as it's not...
Couldn't get a touch up paint from my manufacturer so tried G Paint Bike Paint (got mine off amazon). Comes in a set of 8 that you can mix together to get your colour and is applied by a small brush. Won't be as good as a spray paint but it actually went on quite well and I managed to colour...
